The story is captivating, the drama and action will keep you wanting more. 😊

It does have a little bit of a steamy part but for the most of it its drama between an officer and it student. Ok, with that said it was worth a credit my only complaint it the male narrator. 🙄

Don’t get me wrong for the most part I did like both narrators but the male was too much. I felt like he was too intense in his performance maybe it’s the way the book is written mmm 🤔 am not sure but it did bother enough that in some occasions I had to put the book down and walk away. But even though all that I will be getting book 2 to find out what happens… 🤗 oh it’s a cliffhanger and you won’t believe how intense the ending becomes 🫣🫢

What a world!!

I love the world that Krista Street has created around the SF and the people employed there and the people they protect. What a fantastic place to visit. I have read the next books so without giving anything away, I just want to say that cheering for Avery and Wyatt is a worthwhile adventure. 😉 Wyatt is a very intense character, but ever with that, I wasn’t prepared for the intensity Zachary Johnson brought to the table. It became easier once I was a few chapters in and more braced. The torch and emotions he feels for Avery are very easily heard and felt throughout the book and it is a heartwarming and exciting listen. Thanks to Krista for such a fantastic book and thanks to Sarah and Zachary for a well done performance.

good story

Good story, it grabs your attending and you sit on the edge of your chair hoping something steamy happens.
I like Sara Pavelec's voice, she is how imagine Avery sounds. Though I realize Wyatt is stressed out because of his feelings for Avery, I wish Zachary didn't make Wyatt sound as extreme.

Can't wait to start the next book!!

Great start to new series.

Fantastic!!! Great dual narration. Well paced story that drew me in completely! What happens next?!?!?!?! Ends on a cliffhanger, but what a great start.
