Publisher's summary

Firefighter McAllister "Mick" Malone knows he has a protective streak, especially when it comes to his deceased best friend's sister, Tessa. But after 25 years of verbal sparring, Mick can't help but notice that their recent arguments have started to feel a lot like foreplay. And while Tessa knows exactly what to say to get him going, Mick is thrown for a loop when he actually starts breathing fire.

Antique-store owner Tessa Preston has loved Mick Malone since she was 10 years old--not that she'd ever admit it. Fighting with Mick is the only thing keeping her from an embarrassing romantic confession. But when the sexy firefighter accidentally ingests some ancient dragon scales masquerading as powdered aspirin, Tessa finds herself handling something much hotter than long-simmering sexual tension.

REVIEW:
Oh man!! It has been a wild ride over the last nine books, but I am finally catch up with Ms. Cassidy’s Accidentals Series. And already looking forward to the next adventure. In Accidentally Dragon we get all the normal cast of characters (Nina, Wanda & Marty) plus we get to see a little bit of each of the other characters (Darrel, Arch, Casey, Katie, Jeanine and the all the boys). And of course we get our newest Accidentals Mick and Tessa.
I loved Mick and Tessa. Loved how this story opens with Mick catching Tessa’s store on fire. Oops. Loved to see these two dance around each other. It was heartbreaking to learn the reason it took Mick & Tessa so long to get along. And oh my goodness baby dragon. Love love love little Noah!!
I so can’t wait for the next installment in this series. I can’t wait to see how much softer Nina can be (the ooey gooey marshmallow that she is).
As always Ms. Mitchell does an amazing job of bring these character to life and telling the stories that keep me coming back for more.
If you have not started this series. You really should! It is fun, snarky and full of awesomeness!!

And now, DRAGONS!

Another wonderful chapter in the Accidentally Paranormal series. Of course, Nina steals the show again.
My only complaint is the sexual descriptions. But I've learned to live with it, and just skip em. Other than that, a great read. Loads of fun. Makes me wonder what is next. :-)

Regurgitation of earlier stories

What made the experience of listening to The Accidental Dragon the most enjoyable?

occasional interesting things happening, however much of this was marred by focus on group dynamics which were born in the prior books, and not letting the story of new characters of this book take center stage.

What do you think your next listen will be?

a different author

Have you listened to any of Meredith Mitchell’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

yes. I thought that her various characterizations were charming, even without being familiar with the other books.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

no. it was fine, but not extraordinary.

Any additional comments?

I wish this was a story of the book, not a story of the other books in the series.

Love the new characters

The series just gets better. The latest characters are fun and it's great to see how they interact with the originals. I recommend readers who are new to this series begin with the first book in order to "get to know" the cast as they enter the storyline.

The gang is all back, thank heavens

Loved this addition to one of my favorite paranormal series. From Mitch a.k.a. gigantor two tests we have met some new and fun characters in this edition. Have to love Tessa's reaction to meeting Nina the first time as well as the banter the new dragons....

Dragon Baby

I am getting so tired of Nina the vampire taking charge in almost every single story. She is more of a main character that the actual characters of Tessa and Nick.

I do really like the vocal performance of Meredith Mitchell. She can really do so many variations of voices. It's wonderful to listen to.
