A few weeks later, Rosie's patience is rewarded, and she's allowed to adopt Scruffy. But it soon becomes apparent that things aren't quite what they seem. How will Rosie react when she discovers there's more to her new pet than meets the eye?

Short but Sweet

This was a super cute short listen!
It left me wanting a bit more (I would totally read a fully fleshed out version of this), but I absolutely adore the premise of a shifter being nabbed by animal control and pushed through the adoption process to avoid discovery and their adopter catching them in their human form, then falling in love.
I really like that Rosie is vocal about how she’s a grown woman and capable of making decisions and conveying her desires without bubble wrap treatment, but also really like that Sawyer is so considerate and gentle with her.

The narrator is nice to listen to too, lovely voice and she’s really good at switching from story narration to dialogue which I find a lot of narrators struggle with.

Cute short

The fmc was ready to adopt her first dog. She found the perfect one as long as no one claimed him first. Almost a month after falling for the scruffy mixed breed at the shelter she brings him home and the fallowing morning gets more than she bargained for.

Fun listen

This was a very CUte shifter tale that has some intense fun moments in it

Cute novella, although I didn’t love it

What I did like was the plot and story. It is a cute and refreshing idea. I didn’t think the execution was great. In a novella there isn’t much time for depth and character build.
I understand that, I can’t comprehend why the author would use so many words on inconsequential stuff, so the ending chapter Mrs as a complete surprise and not a pleasant one.

This story is about a woman who was looking for the right dog to join her household. Upon finding this cute small dog, who was very affectionate, the woman purchased the animal from the shelter. She then got a Hugh surprise from her pet. HEA.

short, fun, steamy and sweet

A short shifter romance listen. Fast paced but good storyline that is well narrated. Loved our female main character Rosie who comes across decisive yet open to the idea of shifters. Short but also fun, steamy and sweet! A great balance!

Good Dog Shifter story!

Funny and cute short listen. The narrator has a lovely English accent. The story is based in England. I love the way she interacts with the dogs even the ones in the rescue shelter.
