A good book for sure

So the first thing and really the only thing I found that through me off about this story was the way the narration was with Lisa. from the voice used. I really pictures her as a more masculine role. So I was caught off guard when it the story started to describe how she dressed.
second the ending was very abrupt.
leaving you wondering what happened.
So beside those things ... it's still a story I feel you will enjoy.

Ended too soon!

This was a great story, but what the heck! WHY did the mom leave??????
At least you could have added an epilogue or something to tie up those loose ends. 🧐

The Ups and Downs don't stand a chance against Ashley.

Once Ashley set her on Lise, no matter what emotional roadblocks Lose flunk her her way Ashley wouldn't give up on the idea of them as a couple, which as it turns was actually what Lisa wanted.

favorite of trilogy

so listen entire trilogy and of all them this definitely was my favorite one .

The perfect title

A wounded girl forced to grow up too fast finds or rather winds her way through her feelings of fear, abandonment and anger with the help of a once not very assertive woman.
Sad, sweet, sexy and a story you won’t be able to anticipate.

Short but sweet

Felt like a quick romance easy listening but very enjoyable plot and feel like it could have a sequel and still be interesting.

Couldn't put it down! Puppy love and spicy romance!

What could be better?! This is an engaging series of romance novels with lots of pet love and spicy romance. The books can be a stand-alone listen but are best read in order, since some story lines build on revelations in previous books. Not all injuries can be seen on the outside and this is an excellent example of healing, for the sake of love! Humans harm one another but, as this story shows us, a soul lost can also be found! Attraction is, in part, comprised of what we can learn from each other and this book is filled with that beauty!

Sweet, innocent, positive.

What other book might you compare Rescued Heart to and why?

Difficult to answer.
I guess something like Apples Should be Red by Penny Watson...or maybe Must Love Otters by Eliza Gordon.

What about Abby Craden’s performance did you like?

The best narrators disappear into the story. I don't think she's that good but it was a competent performance and importantly not annoying.

Any additional comments?

In a perfect world I wouldn't have to say this but sadly our world isn't perfect.
This book is LGBT...yes it's a lesbian romance....it's also sweet, generous and indefatigably positive.
I don't think it matters if you're not a lesbian. I'm heterosexual and male and I loved this book. A great story moves beyond definitions.

Love, love, LOVED Lisa and Ashley in this. This is going on my favorites shelf!
