DD Warren is consulting on a film in a graveyard during her 7th month of pregnancy. The 7th MONTH is a worthwhile short story.

I like Lisa Gardner books, but... the plots are great, the men who are confident enough to deal with and like DD Warren are very likeable... but I don't like DD Warren much and I do like intelligent strong women. But she is glutinous, horribly rude and self-centered. She comes across as wanting to outsmart killers for her own ego with little feeling for victims or co-workers. I am going to try one of the profiler series. I have read so many books that I look for mysteries where I can't always figure out the endings and Gardner is usually good for that.

As always everything you'd expect.Absolutely loved it! I do wish it was longer and at least had another murder happen on set before the confrontation.But Im always left wanting more because I love the Detective D.D Warren novels.Great job Ms.Gardner,please keep these books coming. A true fan

Short, crazy and sweet

Interesting storyline for a pregnant Dee Dee Warren. Enjoyed the short story insight. She never gives up.

Lisa Gardner is a Master

Great short story packed with action. Highly recommend reading all of her books with Detective D. D. Warren!

Way too short

I wish I would have paid attention before I used my credit that this was a mini book. I wouldn’t have wasted it on a short book.

Great short read. Lisa Gardner never disappoints. Loved this book! Kirsten Potter did a great performance!

DD Warren = rather annoying

I find the character of DD Warren to be tiresome.... I suspect that Garder *wants* her to come off as annoying to *certain readers*.....so okay, goal achieved.

Not her best

Not Gardner’s best by any stretch. It’s more about DD’s pregnancy than anything else. Usually an interim book in a series has more to it that helps it remain within that series, the only thing holding the Seventh Month in the series is DD HERSELF. I love DD, but I prefer her sctively solving crimes . This wasn’t even an interesting crime. Not worth a credit.

Kind of boring. it was all about the characters and her opinion of them. Not about the clues or anything. Also short and non descriptive.
