Organized, but rhetoric.

This could have been really great, but the author decided to insert a bit too many religious anecdotes for my taste. I listened all the way through, hoping it would get more focused and ramp-up. If you love Jesus and practice Christianity, you'll enjoy it. However, I am not, so this made it difficult to get past his personal dogmas to enjoy his pep-talk, even with the quaintly soothing country drawl of his voice. That being said, there is a lot of useful information in this book, you just need to wade through the sugar coating and get to the meat. If he edits this down to say, a 15-minute summary, it would make the book more enjoyable and far easier to assimilate for us modern city business folks.

It's all about the team!

This book is money! It doesn't matter what type of business or team you are trying to build. I have had the pleasure to build teams, some teams have collapsed and other have stuck together and I've always wondered why? it's simple, create a solid team with good chemistry, some will stay and some will leave. this book is a must read/listen to. I would use some of this material to train my team and apply some of the principles.

Excellent content. No chapter tabs

My low rating is for the format this is in. It is not divided in chapters, so you must listen straight through. You can't open up and choose a desired place in the book 😕

Great book!

Great book for anyone! It has specific focus but that can be applied to almost anyone if they try. John Maxwell knocks it out if the park again!

Forces real introspection

Great listen. Lots to consider as I look to rebuild a team. Would definitely listen again. My only initial complaint was that there weren’t enough examples including women. If you are ready to crate a winning team and improve your results, this is a must read
