Rachel Hayden is restless. After watching her best friend find real happiness, she can’t help feeling that something is missing in her life. When an unexpected opportunity drops in her lap, she takes a leap of faith and heads to Texas.

Mason Freeman is determined to save his family’s ranch and Rachel’s arrival is a complication to his plans that he never expected. To make matters worse, he can’t get the beautiful woman out of his mind. How can he run her off when all he really wants is to hold her close?

They battle at every turn, yet everything changes when they unexpectedly join forces and Mason soon finds himself in danger of losing his heart. But when Rachel’s past catches up with her, Mason has to take a dramatic chance or lose her forever.

I enjoyed this enemies-to-lovers story with a HEA. My only complaint is that there was only a male narrator. It would have been much better with dual M/F narrators.
