Tempest does what it takes.
Pilar learns just how truly evil her mother is when she meets Tempest in an underground prison and she is so deeply moved she does everything in her power to save him. During this disturbing situation Tempest has a connection with Pilar. He vows to come back and rescue her. Pilar helps him escape and is never found out..So their Journey begins. His drive and determination and Pilar’s help combine to bring down the Fates.
Matt Haynes does a great job with the many voices. I loved his ability to change back and forth with different and distinctive characters. Love this author’s ability to have those little surprises throughout the story. Just well done!
