Awesome book

It kept me hooked. It has a great plot and story line. A really good book

Such a great book!

My daughter is a voracious eBook listener, two novels a week for the last several years. This is by far her favorite book! She’s listened to it over 10 times. I also found myself truly enjoying this writer. A different genre altogether, but he reminds me of Pat Conroy’s literarily descriptive capabilities, with his ability to truly immerse the reader in an experience. We can’t wait for the book in this series.

Good, just don’t kill off an important character in future, I feel like you might and I would be so peeved. Also good book, excellent Wright and story creation with great twists.

As usual, Henry Neff packs a powerful wallop!

This story and shows a post apocalyptic Earth that is divided between human, those of magic, demons, and a plethora of other races 3000 years after the days of the Tapestry series and all the original characters we grew to know and love are but myth and legend...though we do glypmpse some of their descendants and even one hell of a cameo! if you loved the first series that took you on a spellbinding journey with Max McDaniels, then you will love this new series just as well...and of you haven't come to know Max and his friends, then do yourselvez a favor and take a gander at Henry Neff's first series before you dive into this one...great audio book in all ways shape and form!!!!

Great performance, great author, excellent story

My only complaint is that the story stopped. Wanted to cry at the end and hope there is more coming down the road

Well written with exciting world building

I definitely enjoyed the previous series and am very excited to find the land and history survived. I appreciated the perspective on how time changes perception. There are interesting topics covered without ever taking away from the enjoyment of the book. The only concern is how long I'll have to wait for book 2!

The best book since the Tapestry series.

I listen to books over and over and when I decided to read listen to this one for the third time I didn't think that I would be as enthusiastic about it as I was. It kept me wanting to listen to it more and more. Highly recommended to anybody that likes good stories

I love the totally original concept and plot line. The performance was excellent as well. I believe anyone who enjoys fantasy or magic genre books would enjoy this book. I'm so sad to have to wait for the next book. I suppose I'll have to reread the Tapestry series in the meantime. Keep up the good work Mr. Neff!
