Leo Varma doesn’t need love. At 37, he’s satisfied with focusing on his career, friends, and casual hookups. Besides, getting into a real relationship would mean finally telling his conservative family that he’s gay and, possibly, losing them forever. He’s convinced himself that living in the shadows is good enough...until he meets Dylan. Dylan Drake-Matthews might be a catastrophe on two legs, but he loves life. After taking a part-time job at the club Leo frequents, the wide-eyed 19-year-old dives into the kink scene with both feet.

Smart men never dabble with demons. I never claimed to be smart, but at least, I’m powerful enough to control them. When I bound Havoc to me nearly 300 years ago, I never realized how difficult he’d make my life, although “accidentally” lighting him on fire every now and then does bring a smile to my face. Havoc is handsome, mysterious, and somehow, my closest companion, even if we don’t always get along.

Ah, love!
I really enjoy age-gap stories in which the older character is seen to work hard at acting his age while struggling against impulses over which he eventually loses control when love happens. This story doesn't disappoint in that regard. Barrett Reid at forty-two has decided that he'd rather spend his time in vanilla hookups than try to find a new boy, since he'd clearly, as far as he could tell, not done a good job with his last lover who dumped him because of his supposed poor skills as a Daddy. Enter Theodore "Teddy" Mason, twenty-four, freshly dumped by his two boyfriends, who wanted their jobs and social acceptance more than they did him, and one of whom also wanted him as a toyboy for himself, but not as part of something long term. Each man is not into starting anything new, though for very different reasons. And yet, they are drawn together almost inexorably, and the love that grows between them is sweet to watch as it develops. I don't really know anything about the differences between a Daddy and a Dom, except perhaps that Doms hurt their subs while Daddies don't -- I think -- but I really like Barrett. He's such a caring man, so mature and yet so vulnerable, needing Teddy to help him realize what he truly is and how good he is at meeting Teddy's needs. Teddy is okay, don't get me wrong, though I found him too innocent and almost childish at times, especially with all that Daddying, which I found too much. I'm just drawn more to the older characters in May/December relationships, probably because I'm older myself and can relate. This narrator is new to me and I do love his deep voice...it does great things with Barrett's tones, and still manages to make Teddy sound youthful. Even his evoking of Dylan, Jason and Tony are well done; To be able to move between so many characters with what sounds like relative ease is great. The only problem I have with his performance is the many awkward pauses and, once in a while, the lack of necessary pauses between sentences in the reading...they were often too long and inexplicable and quite disconcerting, adding nothing to the reading. Additionally -- though this isn't the narrator's issue -- I found the story itself to be too long. It felt more drawn out than it needed to be, which often made me huff in impatience. I love slow-burn stories, but this seemed a bit over the top to me, what with the repetition of points from one lover's perspective to the other as though I hadn't just read the events...pretty annoying, to be frank.

Teddy & His Bear
I really wasn't expecting to feel so many emotions during this book especially right at the beginning. But right from the start you will really feel for and fall for Teddy. He's just such a sweet cute character, and I thought his behavior & personality traits fit the story line really well. I appreciated the dynamic the two guys had together Barrett was the perfect Daddy for Teddy. This book was mostly just light and fun and super adorably cute. Audiobook - Jack Dale was a new narrator for me. But I really enjoyed this audiobook and felt like he really gave us what was needed for the voices of Teddy and Barrett.

Excellent Must Listen
If you are into Daddy kink at all, and really even if you just want a sweet romantic slow burn, this is the book for you. You immediately connect to Teddy due to the opening scene, and when Barrett is introduced and you see his big kind heart, you just know these two are meant for each other. Their story is sad, sweet and in the end, a strong loving bond. The narrator was excellent, I had never heard him before which always makes me nervous since I don't know if I will enjoy them. I was very pleased. Easily differences between character voices, the steamy scenes were done with excellent inflection and he really puts forth the emotion behind the voice which brought me to tears. I have never read any books by these authors but since this had excellent reviews I went for it. I'm so so glad I did.

I love me some Teddy and Bear, great narrator!
I read this book when it first came out and just really enjoyed it! It's super sweet, pretty light on the Daddy kink really, but is probably perfect for people just diving into that kink or interested in something sweet with minimal angst. Teddy has had a rough life, he’s been abandoned by loved ones before, and now his two boyfriends unexpectedly break up with him. Teddy is staying with his friend, when Barrett steps in and offers him a place to stay. Barrett is almost 20 years older than Teddy, and has tried to stay away from kink after a bad breakup. He sees the possibility of something with Teddy, although he does fight it at first. At first they both want friendship, but it’s so clear they’re crazy for the other. I loved these two together, how perfect they were for each other and how they healed by being such a great couple together. It’s a very sweet story, and a bit of a slow burn. For people wanting more hardcore kink or daddy lifestyle, this might be a bit too sweet for you, especially with how quickly Teddy jumps into the lifestyle. But if you want a sweet story with minimal angst, definitely give this one a try. I also really enjoyed the narrator. This is the first book I have listened to from him, and I thought his voices and mannerisms for Teddy and Barrett were great, and I loved Dylan and all of his "OH MY GOD"s. Look forward to hopefully hearing more from this narrator!

Great Start to this Series
I received an ARC of this audio for my honest review. This is a story about Teddy who was in a threesome until one night when his housemates/boyfriends tell him that they want to be a couple and Barrett a much older dominant man. When Barrett goes into a coffee shop with his best friend he overhears about Teddy's predicament on needing to find a place. He offers the apartment over his garage to Teddy and their friendship blossoms. Jack Dale does a great job on the narration of this story. Can't wait to read/hear the next book in the series.

A sweet story about finding love again...
Teddy & His Bear is the first audiobook in the Oh My! series penned by the writing duo of Andi James and Lila Wilde and narrated by Jack Dale. This is an M/M romance with an age-play kink to it between Teddy, who is twenty-four, and Barrett, who is forty-two. After being dumped by his two boyfriends--no, not in two separate relationships but as part of a throuple--Teddy finds himself brokenhearted and at a loss. Barrett knows what it's like to be abandoned by the person he loved most, what with his ex leaving him years ago. When Barrett offers Teddy the garage apartment at his home, the two find themselves becoming closer, but is this the beginning of nothing more than a special friendship or could it be something far more? However, Barrett refuses to even entertain the idea of Teddy being a potential "boy", but will he change his mind when he finds out that Teddy would love nothing more than to have Barrett be his "Daddy"? This was a good story, one that developed in a manner that had the two main characters truly setting firmer groundwork for the relationship that was to follow. It also allowed me to get to know Barrett and Teddy much better. I loved Barrett's protective and nurturing nature. He truly did seem to be an ideal partner for Teddy. On the other hand, the younger man was sweet and equally protective of Barrett, but there were moments where Teddy did seem to have far more naivete than I would expect for someone his age. It was almost as if he was in "boy" mode all the time. Still, I was happily entertained by the story that Andi James and Lila Wilde put together, and it served as a good starting point for the Oh My! series. Jack Dale is a new-to-me narrator, but I was impressed with his effort on this audiobook, creating enough nuances to distinguish one character from another while also setting the tone for the story. I'm giving Teddy & His Bear four stars. ♥

Loved it!
I adored this sweet story from a pair of debut authors! They did an excellent job fleshing out these characters and making them believable and kept the plot nicely paced. The narrator is also new to me and I thought he did a super nice job with this book!

as good as the ebook
The story is always 4 or 5 stars, because if I wouldn't like the story as ebook, I wouldn't listen to the audiobook. The performance from the narrator is also very important for me. I can't listen to a lot, because my English as a non-native-speaker isn't so perfect to follow a whole story over hours, when the narrator speaks too fast or too sloppy. Normally I have to SEE the person, who is talking to me in English. It took me a little bit, to come into the narrator, but at the end, it worked. I only have to take a few breaks between. I'm just not yet finish with the book, but I listen enough to give a review. PLEASE READ MY RATING SYSTEM!!! To my ratings: 5* - very very good it's like an A+ 4* - very good and will be often re-listening it's like an A 3* - it's more then a one-time-listening, but not more then twice a year. it's like a B

Why I skipped some chapters
Nice unoriginal novel with one huge narration flaw. On 70% the mc's start a relationship and the narrator seems to think a boy starts talking like a toddler, once having a daddy. Really disturbing. I skipped the romantic parts from then on.

May December romance
After a horrible break up, Teddy is left unworthy. He was part of a threesome that became a twosome. He finds Barrett, a mature guy with a very protective streak. I just enjoyed how Teddy, sweet and vulnerable found his own guy. Kinky too. The narrator was good with a nice voice.

Be my Teddy Bear!
Sweet and cute with just the right amount of hotness, this is a great start to this series. May to December is one of my favourite tropes and throw in a kind Daddy and I’m sold! Teddy has had a rough time and Barrett steps in to help, starting a beautiful friendship. I loved how the relationship developed into something they both desperately needed. I’ve never listened to Jack Dale before but I loved his narration. I’ll be looking out for other books he’s narrated.

Read it "For the unicorns!"
This book is so sweet it hurts. Two people, broken by previous relationships find love and acceptance in each others arms. watching the relationship developed is a joy. The story starts off in a sad place but ends so happily. Teddy is so adorable, how could you not love him. Jack Dale does a fabulous job narrating this fun, sexy, uplifting story. He is a new narrator for me and I'm now going to look for other books he's narrated. Bring on Leo's story!

Highly recommended daddy kink romance!!!
🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 5 stars 🔥🔥🔥🔥 Heat Level: 4 🎧🎧🎧🎧 Narration: 4.5 Oh My, indeed!! Such a beautiful story! I loved Teddy and Bear! They are so perfect for each other and mesh so well together. I love Barrett's protective and caring nature and his care for his baby boy is just beautiful. I love the nurture in this relationship, yet there is still a great balance. Teddy grows so much in this story and his abandonment issues are approached really well. I love that Teddy was able to find his kink. Bear is such a bold character, the perfect daddy. I love the family they have created and thought this daddy/boy relationship was hot, caring and flew off the page. I loved it! The side characters in this story are fantastic! I loved Dom Tony and submissive but buff Jason, adorably awkward and walk hurricane that is Dylan!. I look forward to Leo and Dylan's story and really hope we get to see Tony and Jason's stories too, there's definitely more there! Brilliantly narrated. Highly recommended daddy kink romance!!! Thanks for reading!

Sweet Boy and his Man
Devastated and heartbroken after being excluded from the threesome he had been happily part of for over a year, Teddy is reeling as he works through his job at Claudette's coffee shop and crashing at his friend Tony's place. He literally falls for Barrett when Teddy is standing precariously on a chair to place some fall decorations high on the wall of the café, and then cries all over him as he spills his woe to the kind older man. Barrett has been longing for Teddy to be his for a long time and it would seem that now is the time to close in... The two are sweet together and I loved listening to Jack Dale giving the guys voices as the story evolves. Highly recommended Daddy/Boy sweet romance. Looking forward to hearing book 2 Leo and his Lion in audio too.

Loved it
This was a wonderful start to a new series. I loved Teddy and Barrett. Watching them grow and put their pasts behind them to realize they are exactly what each other needed was such a fun ride. I loved seeing their love develop. I cannot wait to listen to more of this series.

Enjoyable!
3.5 Stars I loved Teddy. Yes, he might have been a tad too innocent and childlike for a twenty-something that had been in a three-way relationship for 2 years, but that was part of his charm. And that was probably why the whole Dominant Daddy/boy worked for me in this particular scenario. I wasn't particularly impressed by Barrett at first. I understood why he was wary of getting into another Daddy relationship after being blindsided by his ex Charlie, but 4 years should've been more than enough to get past his issues, especially since he'd been crushing on Teddy for the last two. He grew on me, though, and I thought he and Teddy had great chemistry and of course, the whole protective/caring vibe was very hot. I wouldn't have minded less bedroom scenes and more intimacy out of the bedroom between Barrett and Teddy, but I'm sure I'm in the minority regarding that. *shrugs* The narration was okay. I loved Jack Dale's take on Teddy and while his voice is pleasant enough, it felt too slow at times. Still, Jack's naturally gravelly tone made for one very hot Barrett. ;) Overall, the audiobook was enjoyable, and if you're anything like me, a crybaby, you'll probably need some tissues for the first chapter, so you're warned.

Sweet and enjoyable
May/December, Daddy kink* Aww can I please give Teddy a big hug, this is how I felt for most of this audible book. Teddy is dealt a blow by being dumped by his two boyfriends so is now homeless, When Barrett finds out the barista he has a bit of a crush on is looking for somewhere to live, he tries to make things better by offering the apartment above his garage as a place for him, It's the beginning of friendship that gets closer as time goes by, until an accident brings things to a head and true feelings are revealed. This is a super sweet read and it is lovely to read how Teddy changes from a scared untrusting man in to one who has confidence in not only himself but that of his relationships. All down to how safe and secure Barrett makes him feel. It's well written and Jack Dale does the writing justice, the characters were likeable and realistic. I really enjoyed this book, so much so I am dying for the next one in the series which I hope come to audible soon and I really want to know what happened between Jason and Tony, wondering also what is going to happen next. The for the fans of the May/Dec genre this is a must buy.
