Tears of Nimbus

Tears of Nimbus is a story about clouds, emotions and feelings. The story tells of the difficulty a certain cloud has and shows the effects that may be caused when others are left out of groups, especially when the expressed desire to feel belonging is denied. Light Cloud was guided by a wise bird to find the purpose of belonging and expressing joy instead of sadness, so others can enjoy and appreciate the gifts he has to offer. The story helps to identify sadness and joy filled with gratefulness, emotions and expressions. When Light Cloud understood these emotions and expressions, he was able to find his purpose in the sky. About the Author: Tracy-Ann L. Francis is a Registered Early Childhood Educator caring for children in a Montessori school setting. Her love for children and storytelling has led her to writing that will encourage children to express their emotions and understand these big emotions that are often challenging to communicate. Her desire is to help children connect with feelings and emotions and offer guidance to express these connectors in an effective way.
