Great Series!

While I'm not a fan of this new narrator for the series, it was still a really great set of short horror stories. I really love these Tavern of Terror anthologies and can't wait for the next release!

New Narrator is a Miss

The stories are great as always, but I shouldn't have to suffer through the narration. Fix it please!

Skin Crawling Horror

I absolutely LOVED this read! I was given an audio code from Scare Street, and listened almost straight through without stopping (stupid sleep).

If you are ready for some creepy, crawly, horror reads - look no further! These stories were, um, wow! Some of them made my skin crawl, but they were still great. I never get tired of visiting Hannigans Tavern.

Bring on the next!

Wonderful addition to a fantastic collection

Okay let me start by saying, Zachary Zaba is a good narrator but this is the ninth book in the collection and Harry has a voice already that Mr. Zachary missed by a mile. Had it been book one and he started it, then it would be great but I can't give more than 3 stars for his narration of this book. Now the book was a great addition to the collection although slightly on the short side. Harry and the bar, the patrons, the bar maiden. I love listening to the stories they tell. This is an amazing group of authors who honestly work very well together for these books. I'm extremely fortunate to be on the ARC team for this group

Creature Features

The stories were superb as usual. I never have a bad thing to say about the minds of Scare Street. The new voice did ok but maybe he should try to channel his characters more. Thanks for another great listen.

Great Shorts

I absolutely love these books, visit Hannigan’s to meet horror, It has some great creepy/scary shorts and good authors and loved them all but have to mention It Grows Inside you and Mourning Flowers, there is something for everyone. Recommend if you enjoy good short creepy/scary stories with good narration.

Stories are great as usual, not the narrator

I love these books, but I can't get past the narrator. He sounds like a snobby William Shatner. Not his voice, but is reading style. It took me a bit to realize exactly who he reminded me of, and I think I hit the nail on the head. The stories are great as usual, and I hate to Give this book anything less than five stars across-the-board, but the performance is just as important as the stories! Please, give us Tom Bowers back!

“Perky” is not a good match for horror

Mr. Zaba is clearly skilled at sentence annunciation. Reminds me of Hans Conried more than William Shatner - crisp and succinct. A good example of the difference between reading and storytelling. I listen to everything from Scare Street, but didn’t finish this. Spiritless.
