A wild and heartbreaking journey

First let me start by saying how amazingly talented the voice actors are in this series. They blew this series out of the water with their acting talent. It was as if I was right there watching everything happen in real time. Neely’s voice actor was spot on with that TN accent. Being from TN myself, I got a real kick out of her accent. 😋

Wow, wow, wow, wow! I thought her other series was amazing ( The Forbidden Series ), this series tops that by a long shot. I laughed, yelled, cried like a baby, swooned, and more. A rollercoaster ride of emotions throughout this series. Seth and Neely are so drawn to each other from the very beginning. It’s so easy for everyone to see but not themselves. They definitely try to fight it and certain people cause rifts between each other. The struggles they go through is more than any average person goes through in a relationship. In the end, they come right back to each other and start planning their life together. Well, let’s just say they don’t get their HEA. 😭

The way Andrea Smith writes with so much detail, it’s so easy to just picture yourself right there as it happens. Her stories are so relatable that you or someone you know have most likely been through a similar situation so that you know how each character feels in the moment. Again, it’s as if I was going through the emotions with the characters. I have to say, Andrea Smith absolutely broke me with this series. Specially if you were old enough to remember the tragic event that took place in Star F*cking.

To rap this up, I absolutely loved this series. If a book can make me cry the way this series did, it’s a 5 star for me. I would recommend Andrea Smith’s books till my last breath. She is a phenomenal author.

Omg!!

I loved Seth and Neely's story! From childhood to adulthood, they were meant to be together! The story line was epic and the ending ripped my soul from my chest but it was an amazing storyline! The event at the end was truly relatable since I was around to experience the tragedy and my heart hurt in that moment. This story will live on in my head! Great Job Andrea!!! Also the little Easter eggs from her other books was a nice little add on

Absorbing Contemporary Romance

I enjoyed this story. This box set consisted of four novellas that related the relationship between Neely and Seth, beginning when they were children until they were young adults. Each novella was charming and entertaining. There was some mature content found within the pages of the tale. Rachelle Williams' narration was fine, and her performance was entertaining. I was given a free copy of the audiobook, and I have voluntarily posted this review.

Great Story

Be prepared to shed some tears it's going to have you crying on the last story , narrator is okay, there are some good points and then there are some very slow parts. But all in all its a good audible to listen too.

Well written. A real page turner

Loved the whole thing. Surprised by ending but really held my attention. Great dialog and well written.

Neely's Journey Forward

I listened this a couple of years ago. It totally broke me, yet here I am again listening to the soul crushing story of Neely Evans and Seth Drake. I mean, there are plenty of laughs, groans, moans, and brow raisers throughout the series, but that ending gets me every time.

I definitely recommend this, even though the time jumps drive me a little bonkers and it isn't a traditional HEA. Please, do not short change yourself and read some of the installments. You really need to commit to the full series (each book takes roughly two hours to read). It's worth it (if you can handle the tears)!

I enjoyed the narrator, Rachelle Williams, and her southern drawl. She was a great choice for Neely, whose point of view this is told from for the majority of the series.
