I’m incredibly lucky. I was born with a silver spoon in my mouth. My father is one of the wealthiest men in the world, and I stand to inherit everything one day. At least, that’s what I tell people, but it isn’t exactly true. The reality is that my life is not my own. Everything has been mapped out and dictated to me, right down to the man I will marry one day. Unfortunately, that day is fast approaching and the man he has chosen — let’s just say, he’s not my type.

I was distraught when I found out that I had been selected as a Tribute. That I was expected to go to Draig Island. Everyone knows that a large percentage of Tributes never make it back. I thought it was the worst thing that could happen to me.

Then, I taste freedom for the first time in my life. I start to think that Draig Island could be my salvation. All I have to do is mind-bond with a dragon, and I will be able to stay. It’s a pity that mind-bonding with dragons is incredibly dangerous and a very difficult feat to achieve. I am determined. I will get it right. I want to stay. Going back to my old life is no longer an option.

Further Proof…

Every time I read a story by a female author it gives further proof that Women want the bad boy. They want to be dominated and spanked the whole “Me caveman, you woman sex pet.” Honestly?!? If it wasn’t funny it would be sad. Why do I say this? Why do I think this way? Because all of the “Best” sellers are BDSM. 50 shades of grey, and so many others. But hey.. it’s a good listen and well written… but further proof that women are indeed easy.

Enjoyed story

But having a male main character speak one way then give him a long island accent. It’s annoying and it makes him so dumb

extremely ams amazingly detailed ... it kept me on the edge can't wait 4 more!

Deceased wife

Hero has a deceased wife he still mourns for, and spoilers- in the end they middle-name the baby for her. Not for me.
