Interesting and entertaining

This was an intriguing story with some twists I didn't see coming . The father controlled and ruled everything around him with "dirty: hands.
The ghost was a shocker. Pookie was an intriguing and compelling character I enjoyed-
even her parroting everything her dad said. Lol.
I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest opinion. The narrator did a good job

The past and present collide

Tales of Naybor Manor is the third in the Piney Falls series by Joann Keder. A local vineyard on the property of a mysterious mansion rumored to be the site of deaths, ghosts and disappearances in the might. When long dead bodies start turning up at the vineyard, Lanie investigates the truth of what happened 60+ years ago. I enjoyed the audiobook very much. There are lots of twists and turns that kept me guessing. I jumped in at book 3 and I think it would have been better to start with book 1 and read them in order. The narration by Carolyne Leys is wonderful. She creates unique voices that run the spectrum of age and regional accents. Her performance bought the characters and story to life. I received a free audiobook code for my honest review.

Book 3 of 7, mystery series

This 7 book series only has 5 in audiobook form. This book functioned o.k. as a stand alone (it is #3, and I had not read 1 or 2) but I think I would have cared about characters more us I had done the previous 2. Audiobook narrator does a great job of creating distinct character voices.
