Well, more like a glorified house sitter whose German shepherd actually landed me the job because he looks like a guard dog. (Which couldn't be further from the truth.)
What I didn't expect (nor, I assume, did he) was that his daughter would show up. One that apparently can't stand her father. He said to treat everything as if it were mine. I might be taking this job a little too literally.

Poignant, beautiful story!! Well narrated!!
Taking a Risk, an Audiobook by Lexy Timms is the engaging story of William and Sophie. They’re from two completely different worlds, and somehow, find a way to move beyond their worlds to become friends and something more. She’s a bored, wealthy socialite. He’s a finance man looking for a new start, along with his dog. Ends in a cliffhanger (as always)
This Audiobook was excellently performed by David Bryan….no easy feat when he is the sole performer! But, his narration was incredible…he made it easy to distinguish between characters…and he made the story a joy to listen to!!
