Zeus and Lucy!

Taken by the Alpha by Laxmi Hariharan and Scarlett Brooke is a steamy listen with great imagery. The narration by Tor Thom and Charley Ongel captivated me. I love how plans change. Tor is the perfect alpha while Charley was all stubborn and sass. They are so delightful to listen to and bring the characters to life and add incredible chemistry. Warning this book ends in a cliffhanger.

Holy Hotness!

I loved this story! WOW what a fabulous per of narrator’s . Tor Thom and Charley Ongel are Magnificent balance together that definitely makes the storyline come to life. They have a fantastic accent in there repertoire. They are always sinfully seductive together. They are one of my favorite narrator’s, I always have to have the books they narrator.
The story is extremely well written and narrated. This erotic romance we’ll have you wanting more. The is a fantastic start to a great series that I can’t wait to listen to more.

Tor as Zeus is EPIC!!

Holy F*** this audio was HOT. Tor as Zeus was absolutely out of this world. His voice was so deep and raspy. This has to be one of the hottest audios that I have every listened to. I really liked the character of Zeus, he was such an alpha. Just amazing.

Super Hot!

WOW! This one was one of the sexiest stories I have ever listen to. It sure kept my interest. Can’t wait for the next one. Tor Thom and Charley Ongel are super stars narrating it! They can make you believe that you are watching every second of it.

Entertaining

Both Laxmi Hariharan and Scarlett Brooke are new authors to me. Dystopian paranormal romance is not a genre I typical read or listen to. This was a hot and steamy book that certainly had my imagine working overtime.

Be prepared this book ends on a cliff hanger, so you have been warned. The narration from Tor Thom and Charley Ongel certainly brought the story to life for me.

I was intrigued by the story that the authors wove and as mentioned I have not read or listened to this type of story before. It was fast paced and certainly drew me in and kept me engaged throughout.

A fast paced, steamy Omegaverse romance

Zeus plans to take over. Lucy plans to kill Zeus. But plans change and Zeus and Lucy fall for each other. I love the struggle between Zeus and Lucy. Zeus is a strong Dominant. Lucy is a stubborn submissive. The chemistry between these two make the relationship even more intense as they struggle to find the happy balance. Set in an Omegaverse, the paranormal aspect of the story adds to just a romance and gives it a different life. This was a fun and steamy listen.

Tor Thom and Charley Ongel are a perfect narrating team. Their natural chemistry brings out the chemistry in the characters. Thom is always the perfect alpha male with his deep voice. Ongel brought the sassiness of Lucy to life. Ongel has a way of narrating those sassy submissives and making the seem so real. Their narration brought this story to life and I felt as if I was a fly on the wall inside the story.

WOW!!

I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review. This is the first book in a trilogy so ends on a cliffhanger... This is a great beginning of Zeus and Lucy's story, I was captivated and intrigued by the characters and the story-line. I love the chemistry, lust, and interaction between Zeus and Lucy. Zeus is a true alpha male and Lucy his omega. Narrators Tor Thom and Charley Ongel did a fabulous job with the characters and story, Tor Thom does a perfect Alpha, Oh My! That voice!! Exactly what I picture in my head what an Alpha would and should sound like! Can't wait for the next one!

What an alpha!

If you are looking for a hot, fast paced listen you have found the book for you! This paranormal romance will have your head spinning and your heart soaring. We are taken into the Knotted Omegaverse and meet Zeus. He is the alpha in charge, and now he is looking to take over his half brother's kingdom. Lucy, the Omega comes in and plans on assassinating Zeus, but plans change! Zeus is taken with Lucy and with his power and charisma, dominates Lucy. After all, she is an Omega, and she is to be his submissive. But she has a will of her own and refuses to obey. They have a precarious dance, learning each other and finding that dominant/submissive balance. It's fun, steamy and the story behind them one of survival. Just know that this will end on a cliffhanger, so be prepared to grab book 2 to see what happens to this couple!

Tor Thom and Charley Ongel narrate this gem. They are such a good team, and I love their voices. Thom fits that alpha role perfectly with his smooth baritone voice. But Ongel meets him line for line with her stubborn Omega! Lucy is a force and Ongel brings her to life with a voice that lets him know she means business. They really make it a movie in your mind.

What is too much internal dialogue?

I didn’t think it was possible to to listen to a book that was so repetitive. Most of this book is H and h in there own internal dialogue about their feelings. More than half of the book is them in heat and rutting.

Lucy and Zeus

This is a great start to the Knotted Omega series. The choice of narrators was excellent. Tor was an awesome and hot Zeus. Lucy comes to assassinate Zeus but other things get in the way. This was a really good book and I am looking forward to the next book in the series.

fabulous

This is a really good story, I love dual narration I think it brings the best out of a story and the vocals on this is clear and I enjoyed it.

HOT

The premise of the storyline is interesting, packed with scorching hot scenes. The main characters are fabulous. Zeus, an alpha, and Lucy, an omega, have an intense relationship, and their chemistry searing; they were literally on fire. Their connection was instant but far from being instalove. They both fought their innate and biological attraction to each other.

Outstanding narration by Tor Thom and Charley Ongel, both portrayed the characters' personalities and emotions very well. I love Tor Thom's alpha voice, it's marvellously raspy and gratifying.

Hot start to the series!💥

A Fast paced & steamy read with a real good twist towards the end!

I grabbed this book immediately after Reading the prologue & wow what a start it has! Lucy & Zeus have one hell of a chemistry, especially when their sex scenes go for so long...Not that I'm complaining *wink*. Though, it maybe a lot of internal dialogue for some...So forewarned.

An assassin falling in love with guy she was sent to kill, Yup. It's quite the story! Plus with that end, I immediately grabbed the next one😍

The voice cast is pretty good!💞 I like it!!

Hot and steamy

Lucy was sent to assassinate Zeus. But everything went wrong. Her Omega side which she has kept locked down kicked in and she cannot resists Zeus. He is one of the strongest, meanest and most brutal Alphas ever. This is a hot steamy read. I look forward to reading and listening more by this author. This is an excellent adaptation the duel narration is perfect

Good overall but very repetitive

in my personal opinion. I found this very repetitive, the story's plot that he had taken her against her will is mentioned in every chapter, both characters talk about what's already happened again and again. we know because we've already read it! then 80% of the book is just sex, the same sex, same wording, I found myself skipping parts because I wanted to hear more of the story than just sex. both characters spend ages fighting their inner thoughts going between love and hate for each other. then finally the story gets good...and it ends! if you want a dirtier fifty shades meets beauty and the beast, this is the book for you.

In my top 10 Audible books

I've listened to this book at least four times. Zeus and Lucy are vivid in my imagination. Their story is steamy. I listened late into the night on first listen, not wanting it to end. I've read this Omega series with Kindle Unlimited but is enhanced with brilliantly suited narration. I will continue with more audio books in the series.

Can you stand the heat?

One extremely steamy listen, brought to life by two amazing narrators! I read the book long before the audibook came out, and it was a great treat to be able to put voices to the main characters. If you like explicit listens in a dystopian setting, I highly recommend both the book and the audiobook!

great story

this story was well written. I loved it from first page to last. Laxmi Hariharan is a great story teller . I fell in love with the Alpha and omega story line,Thom and Charley brought the story to life . I can't wait to read the next bool

Bad Alpha

This is one seriously twisted dark romance with a hot Alpha determined to break the beautiful Omega Sent to kill him.
But this Omega is tougher than most and has no intention of surrendering to a Monster. Pity her body might not give her a choice.

I always enjoy listening to work by Tor and Charley and they do an amazing job narrating this Dark Omegaverse Captive Romance set in a different world with different rules of conduct.

Fair warning this book ends on a cliffhanger but readers can continue listening to Zeus and Lucy's story for free with Kindle Unlimited and Text to Speech as I'm going to.

Very explicit!

this book was ok but a little to graphic for my tastes. I struggled to finish it.
