I think Addison Cain wrote this story 3 years ago.

I am quite confused. The author Addison Cain wrote an Omegaverse story that is so similar to this one that they feel almost like the same story. The names of the characters are different, but almost everything else is exactly the same. I'm a bit disappointed that anyone would copy another author and claim it as their own.

Omegaverse Knotted Omega

First of all I would like to thank Laxmi for a free copy of the audible version of this book.

Lucy and Zeus are two head strong characters. Both doing what is necessary to ensure the survival of their people. Lucy is definitely strong and doesn't give up even when she was faced with a life and death situation. Zeus, gosh, he was a scary alpha but he's also soft on the inside.

This book is dual POV so we know exactly why each character made the choice they did. Although Zeus is willing to commit and make this relationship work, is it enough to win over Lucy. The book does end of a cliff hanger.

Zeus and Lucy!

Taken by the Alpha by Laxmi Hariharan and Scarlett Brooke is a steamy listen with great imagery. The narration by Tor Thom and Charley Ongel captivated me. I love how plans change. Tor is the perfect alpha while Charley was all stubborn and sass. They are so delightful to listen to and bring the characters to life and add incredible chemistry. Warning this book ends in a cliffhanger.

A fast paced, steamy Omegaverse romance

Zeus plans to take over. Lucy plans to kill Zeus. But plans change and Zeus and Lucy fall for each other. I love the struggle between Zeus and Lucy. Zeus is a strong Dominant. Lucy is a stubborn submissive. The chemistry between these two make the relationship even more intense as they struggle to find the happy balance. Set in an Omegaverse, the paranormal aspect of the story adds to just a romance and gives it a different life. This was a fun and steamy listen.

Tor Thom and Charley Ongel are a perfect narrating team. Their natural chemistry brings out the chemistry in the characters. Thom is always the perfect alpha male with his deep voice. Ongel brought the sassiness of Lucy to life. Ongel has a way of narrating those sassy submissives and making the seem so real. Their narration brought this story to life and I felt as if I was a fly on the wall inside the story.

WOW!!

I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review. This is the first book in a trilogy so ends on a cliffhanger... This is a great beginning of Zeus and Lucy's story, I was captivated and intrigued by the characters and the story-line. I love the chemistry, lust, and interaction between Zeus and Lucy. Zeus is a true alpha male and Lucy his omega. Narrators Tor Thom and Charley Ongel did a fabulous job with the characters and story, Tor Thom does a perfect Alpha, Oh My! That voice!! Exactly what I picture in my head what an Alpha would and should sound like! Can't wait for the next one!

Loved the audiobook the story was very entertaining, Laxmi is a fantastic writer. Narrator did a fantastic job also.

Lucy and Zeus

This is a great start to the Knotted Omega series. The choice of narrators was excellent. Tor was an awesome and hot Zeus. Lucy comes to assassinate Zeus but other things get in the way. This was a really good book and I am looking forward to the next book in the series.

Both Tor Thom and Charley Ongel did an excellent job with the narration. I received this free copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Good story great audio actors really repetitive

She was sent to kill him. So he had no idea why he fell for her it was more than she was an omega and he was an alpha. The real question is who was owned and who is the owner, you will just have to read this book to find out.
If you like hot and heavy sexual romances with rutting galore, then this book is for you. I would recommend this book to some extent to anyone who likes hard-core sex. For everyone else who bores easily I would steer clear of this one. As much as I liked the plot and character dynamics of this book the writing itself made me want to scream. The beginning was so repetitive I just about stopped reading it. I am ultimately glad I didn't as the second half was not as bad and the plot, pacing picked up unfortunately I was finally engaged just in time for it to end.

Wow! Talk about intense! I love M/F Omegaverse books and these authors delivered!
The narrators made the story even better!
