That's exactly the situation when Adrienne Phillips enters the offices of Foster McKenzie. Sloan Merchant, the opposing attorney, is a rising star in the world of corporate law with one of the premier companies in the world. Cute and enjoyable book!

I enjoy Julie Cannon's work and this book fell in line with my sentiments. The characters were very easily liked, friendly, and had good depth. Not only was the character background good, the present view was also intersting. What I especially enjoyed about the book was that the emotions and plot were real and do actually happen in life. It wasn't a stretch for me to understand what the characters were going through because it was realistic. The narrator was equally good and brought the emotions of the book alive. I do wish yhr book was longer tho and delve a little more into their lives after the declaration of love but hey, it still was good without. Well done!

Great Audio.

I enjoyed Take Me There by Julie Cannon. Charley Ongel does an excellent job with the narration. Two lawyers meet after a lengthy separation. Note: The main characters day dream about sex, fantasize about sex, have sex, and remember past sexual experiences. Not a lot of lawyering going on.

Some books are better read.

You must read Come and Get Me first. I struggled to finish listening to this book. The narrator wasn't bad but just didn't quite do it for me. Kind of a lull and didn't keep me interested. Her voice wasn't right for Elliott should have been more bold and stronger in tone. The story was good therefore I recommend buying the book or downloading an e-book. Some books are better read.
