The late Fritz Leiber's tales of Fafhrd and the Gray Mouser launched the sword-and-sorcery genre, and were the inspiration for the fantasy role-playing game Dungeons and Dragons.

Solid Fantasy Adventure

This is a a humorous action fantasy adventure. Easily one of the best pulp fantasy authors ever to man a typewriter.

Not my fav.

Adept’s Gambit was a bit of a slog. Particularly the one character’s backstory. A slog within a slog.

Read the entire physical trilogy 10 years ago.

A totally different experience here compared to the paper version; I love it🥰 Looking forward to the others...

Not the best in the series

The storyline was okay but there are better ones in my opinion. The narrator's consistent use of different voices for different characters is appreciated but there were a few times when the voice used was somewhat distractingly monotone.

We done!

Another wonderful tale of Fafard and the Gray Mouser. Their adventures pull the reader in and holds them to the end.
