Publisher's summary

A murder in plain sight. A suspect clear as knight. Can this psychic sleuth unhorse the true villain?

Mitzy Moon is no fan of the Renaissance Faire. But her interest is suddenly piqued when a jousting exhibition turns deadly. Following a clue from her magicked mood ring, she’s ready to take up the sword and fight for the realm.

Refusing to heed the handsome sheriff’s warnings, Mitzy dons a wench’s wardrobe and dives into the case. But she’ll need the help of her meddling Ghost-ma and spoiled feline to root out the canker. With doxies, scoundrels, and panderers aplenty, it won’t be easy to ferret out the truth!

Can Mitzy serve up the knave on a pike, or will she find herself on the wrong end of the lance?

Swords and Fallen Lords is the seventh book in the hilarious paranormal cozy mystery series Mitzy Moon Mysteries. If you like snarky heroines, supernatural intrigue, and a dash of romance, then you’ll love Trixie Silvertale’s twisty caper.

Will an old enemy turn Mitzy's date deadly?

I can't get enough of Mitzy Moon and the other charming folks from Pin Cherry! I've read all of this series, but getting to hear Coleen Marlo bring my favorite characters to life is a real treat!

Join Mitzy and her favorite Sheriff as they spend the day at a local Renaissance Faire and witness a murder! There are twists, turns and good clean fun as Mitzy uses her film school training along with help from her Ghost-ma, her cranky caracal, and her mentor, Silas, to investigate this latest mystery.

One of my favorite paranormal audios!

I absolutely love listening to this series! A cozy mystery with a snarky, quick witted female lead with a twist of paranormal assistance! A ghost, a talented cat, an intelligent mentor and a hot sheriff are just the tip of the ice berg of cast members that surround our lovable Mitzy Moon! Add in excellent plotting with multiple suspects to investigate and you'll be guessing until the end who the guilty party is. Lots of laughter is always an added bonus and this book is definitely full of that! If you haven't started the series yet, you really should as you are missing out on loads of fun! The narrator does an outstanding job of bringing our favorite characters to life as well so I definitely would put this series on your must listen list soon!

Renaissance Faire

Swords and Fallen Lords is the seventh book in the Mitzy Moon Mysteries series by Trixie Silvertale ---an addictive paranormal cozy mystery. I started in the middle of the series, but quickly went back to the beginning to get in on even more fun! Mitzie is young, engaging and smart; the rest of the characters blend with each other perfectly--a nod to Ms. Silvertale's writing skill.
This setting is a Renaissance Faire with swords, jousting, knights, an executioner, and a murder. Mitzie must be on her game as she follows the twisty turns of this mystery. I also love the fast pace and the dash of romance, you will enjoy this wonderful audiobook! I listened in one day---I could not put it down.
Thank you to Sittin' on a Goldmine Productions for granting me an ALC of this book. All my opinions are my own. I review books that I enjoy so that friends and followers can enjoy them, too.

My favorite so far

Mitzy doesn’t know what to think about the Renaissance fair. However, Sheriff Harper’s excitement about the jousting tournament has Mitzy intrigued. When the event turns deadly Mitzy jumps into the investigation and completely submerges herself in the Renaissance fair life to find the killer.

This is my favorite in the series so far. The story is so much fun. The setting of the Ren Fair made for a terrific reading experience. The characters are entertaining, full of snark and personality. The mystery kept me guessing with its twists and turns.

I listened to the audio version of the book. The narrator did a wonderful job bringing out Mitzy’s personality. She was a pleasant voice that is enjoyable to listen too.

All thoughts and opinions are my own, and in no way have I been influenced by anyone.

Fun at the Ren-faire

Why is it that the best books are over too soon? I think this one is my favorite of the series so far. I love Renaissance faires and that while time period. Trixie"s descriptions made me feel like I was there. if you like costumes, snark, a good mystery abs surprises, this book is for you! The narration was spot on, as always.

LOVE this series!

Swords & Fallen Lords is Book 7 in the Mitzy Moon Mystery Series by Trixie Silverdale.
I absolutely LOVE this series!

This story is set at a Renaissance Faire, which Mitzy is not the biggest fan of.
Until there is a murder that takes place.

I love the mood ring that Mitzy wears, I think that's such a unique way of dropping clues.

I love the characters in the story, and Ghost-ma is my favorite.

This one kept me guessing until the very end.

A well written, perfectly paced mystery.

Coleen Marlo does such a wonderful job narrating the story and brining the characters to life.

loved it

It was Fun going to the Renaissance Faire with Mitzy Moon , though she wasn't expecting to sleuth during the festival, a murder occurred with a very historical sword. Mitzy is still learning her skills and at times spews some fun facts much to her friend's surprise. Always fun journey with these characters'!
