Publisher's Summary

Cooper Rutledge: frat boy, general screwup, and...Daddy's boy?

On the surface, I don't take things too seriously. Not my poor grades, or my hookups, or my inability to find my purpose. But that was before. Before the daddy of my wet dreams swiped right on my pic. Before he turned out to be my father's best friend. Before I convinced him to indulge in one night of pleasure with no strings.

I didn't count on how magical it would be. I didn't know that when he spanked me and offered words of praise, my soul would drink it up. I didn't realize how right Daddy kink would feel.

One night could never be enough. Because I do care. Too much. And when life sends me into an emotional tailspin, Trace steps up to support me - proving he cares too.

Everything has gotten very real, very fast. But are we ready for the fallout? I can't let anyone, not even my father, come between me and Trace. I've finally found my Daddy, and I'll fight to keep him.

Swiped by My Dad's Best Friend is a contemporary age-gap M/M romance that includes light daddy kink and no age play.

Very Enjoyable

Swiped By My Dad's Best Friend is Book 1 in the Thrust Into Love series. This is a wonderfully written sweet, fun, age gap, light daddy kink story about Cooper, a college student, and Trace, Cooper's dad's best friend. Cooper lives in a frat house and his dad, Matthew, is the dean of students. Trace and Matthew, had a bit of a falling out and Trace is in town to give an alumni speech and to reconnect with Matthew. While in town Trace decided to seek a casual hook up and without knowing it swiped on Cooper's profile. Trace was surprised when he found out Cooper had shown up to his room. Cooper was all for continuing their hook up, but Trace wasn't so sure. I love Cooper's determination in going after Trace. They have a wonderful connection and I really enjoyed watching them grow in their relationship and their dynamic. They really are so good for each other and though Matthew wasn't thrilled, I'm glad they didn't give up on furthering their relationship. They deserve their happy ending.
Narrator Nick J. Russo does a marvelous job and continues to be one of my favorite narrators.

Age Gap Romance Narrated at it's Finest!

Absolutely loved listening to this one! Nick narrates with all the feelings! His voice distinctly brings out both Cooper and Trace who are of course very different guys! It is a perfect mix of realistic characters, family, work, humor, romance, angst and story! Cooper is our kind of lost soul college boy trying to find his true place and desire in life. Trace is older and just works too hard and really needs to find love! Trace being Cooper's Dad's kind of best friend, there has been some distance between them brings a bit of an obstacle for these too. Once they give in to the Very Obvious on page chemistry and all-around genuine connection, they feel they are able to really balance each other out. Trace helping Cooper find his way in school, and Cooper helping with Trace's business. Along the way are some hot steamy times! There is light Daddy boy kink that is Not age play, so I simply enjoyed it all!

Sweet Age Gap Romance

I enjoyed this light daddy kink/age gap romance. Cooper and Trace made a great couple, once they both got over the "he'll never want me forever" thoughts! I really enjoyed how both MCs developed and brought the best out in each other. The light tension created by the friendship between Trace and Cooper's dad was dealt with well. Another solid story with a HEA by DJ Jamison.

I love Nick J. Russo as a narrator, but a couple of times I thought Trace's "sexy voice" was a little on the smarmy side.

I would recommend this as a read or a listen.

Age gap - sweet surprise

This was an adorable story of an age gap surprised happenstance. Looking for a hook up both men find a match that leads to a surprise. But when the dust settles, they decide to make a go of it. Not surprisingly they are worried about Dad's view on their relationship. I found this book very sweet and enjoyable. Nick Russo does a great telling and has the right soft voice to pull it through. I enjoyed reading the story, so was excited to hear it as well. Nick didn't disappoint. I would still recommend this to others!

Steamy & Heartwarming Age-Gap Romance

I was already a fan of this story as an e-book (original review below), and listening to narrator Nick J. Russo breathe new life into Cooper and Trace in audio was a pleasure. The little edge of gruffness he gives to Trace's voice is just right.

One of the aspects I enjoyed most about this steamy age-gap love story is how genuinely encouraging and understanding Trace is of Cooper as he provides the confidence boost the younger man needs to truly believe in himself.

Cooper feels like a disappointment and failure to his family and frat brothers, and aimless in his life (which is nearly palpable at times), but Trace sees the smart, caring, and capable man his boy really is beneath all the insecurity and anxiety. In quickly becoming the loving, supportive, and guiding hand (and Daddy) Cooper has always needed, Trace also faces an internal struggle about pursuing a relationship that may jeopardize his recently repaired friendship with Cooper's unknowing father.

"Swiped By My Dad's Best Friend" is a very steamy, heartwarming, and smile-inducing HEA journey with a hint of the forbidden, and I look forward to reading more of this series. I received this free review copy audio book by request and have left this honest review voluntarily.

Perfect Age Gap Romance!

This is the sweetest, schmoopiest story! I fell in love with Trace and Cooper. Their story is a little unconventional, but it totally works. And the narrator nailed it!

Taking a chance

Such a heart warming story about finding love and having to work together. Family is sometimes a hard road to travel but when one has an anchor the trip is easier to navigate.

Loved it!

I loved this book when I read it and listening to it was a pleasure.

DJ Jamison is one of my favorite authors and Nick J. Russo is one of my favorite audiobook performers; I was so excited when I found out that Nick would be doing the audio for this book. He did a great job and when I listened to this, I got even more emotional than I did when I read it.

As I said in my review of the ebook: Daddy/boy books will probably never become my favorite in the MM genre but several of my favorite authors are writing them so I’m going to read them. Having said all of that, I think this is one of the best books I’ve read by DJ Jamison. The writing was smooth and tight with nothing that muddied up the story. It’s a great age-gap book with fairly light daddy kink. My emotions were all over the place with this story. I laughed and I shed a few tears which means I really loved it.

A complimentary copy of this audiobook was provided to me at my request but my review was voluntary and not influenced by the author and/or narrator.

Cooper & Trace

I really enjoyed the narration of this story. Nick J. Russo is quickly becoming one of my go to narrators and he did a fantastic job with Cooper and Trace’s story. I found their connection to be great, and the chemistry was super hot. I thought the light Daddy kink was handled well, and liked how they made it work for them. Trace was an amazing support system for Cooper when he could get Cooper to open up to him and share. Cooper opened himself up to Trace and in turn began to find himself and what he wanted. I loved seeing Cooper evolve from his frat partying ways to get coloring where his life could go. Cooper’s dad only wanted the best for him, and I understood his initial hesitation with Cooper and Trace’s relationship. What knocked this down a star for me was tying up Cooper’s estranged relationship with his mom. I could see where some of Cooper’s issues came from his Mom’s abandonment, but it felt a bit far fetched to tie that issue up with a bow. Outside of that, this was an enjoyable audio and the narration really worked for me.

Cooper lost without Trace

Cooper the frat boy couldn't settle until he met the handsome Trace and it was only a matter of time before they got it together, it's a great story with lots of humour and with a great narrator, enjoy I know I did.

Great age gap story!

I love Daddy kink, I love age gap and I love DJ Jamison’s writing style.
Throw in the added bonus of the Dad’s best friend trope and I was in audiobook heaven! Seriously, I devoured this one as fast as real life allowed me to!
The story is sexy and funny, but also sweet, and with an underlying hurt/comfort theme with Trace helping Cooper get out of his head and figure out how to be his best self.
It's quite low-angst, even with Cooper’s father disapproval it never gets unnecessarily dramatic, and it’s really a pleasure to listen to, especially with Nick Russo's wonderful performance!

Great listen

You really can’t go wrong picking a DJ Jamison title and this one is no exception. Heartfelt, emotional and steamy age gap romance with light daddy kink.

Trace and Cooper are just looking for some fun to blow off steam for one night but they find in each other everything they didn’t know they were missing. I enjoyed the development of their relationship as they navigate the daddy/boy element as well as dealing with all the external issues they faced.

Very much worth a listen.

Good...so good!

I enjoyed this book so much because not only it is written by one of my favorite authors but also it was narrated by Mr Russo, again one of my favorite voice actors. Ms Jamison managed the Daddy/boy part of the story in a very respectful way, showing us an amazingly sweet dynamic between Trace and Cooper. They were so good and cute together! The book is easy to read in spite of some family drama but at the end everything got settled perfectly. Mr Russo as narrator, ensured all the endearing characters and sweet situations reached my heart with a beautiful performance and a nice smooth voice. A wonderful treat! Loved it!

Appealing

The story is charming. Both characters are so likable. The interaction between them is entertaining. The age gab, dad’s best friend is a hard relationship to make heartwarming and realistic. This story does that. Even there is the age gap they are also partners. I like that part of it. Trace helps Cooper make decisions for himself and Cooper helps Trace with his business. There are a few situations that need handled and this is done well. Nick J. Russo has this talent to make each character individual and makes the story come to life.
