I really loved this book from start to finish!!! Yes for the Sullivan Bad Boys!!!! Very hot and steamy!!!! I must have the rest of the series!!!!

Best romance audio book!

The narrators were AMAZING! Plot and storyline was flawless. Looking forward to diving into this series!

Almost but not quite....

I really like this story. It is the typical type of romance I read/listen to. What is not quite right is the narration by MB. I like the tone of her voice. It is right for the character but the narration is missing something. I listened intently to determine what was happening. I think it has to do with how the voice finishes the sentence. When I learned to read I was told to "drop" my voice at the end of sentence. I noticed MB raises her voice at the end of most sentences. It creates a feeling I cannot exactly describe. It's like a foreboding or suspense, that makes you feel like something is going to go wrong with the characters or scene. Also her male southern dialect is a somewhat disappointing. Wouldn't it be nice to have a southern dialect like Matthew McConaughey. Instead it sounds more like an older southern gentleman.
I am in no position to judge the talent of the narrators. God forbid I try to narrate a story but I hope my review gives the reader some food for thought. The story is good. You just have to give MB a pass on the narration. .

Sexy thrilling love story

This is the perfect love story with all the twists of a crazy family and typical friendships. I enjoyed every bit. The spicy sex scenes were tantalizing. This should be a Hallmark movie!

I really liked this book and would recommend it. It had a great storyline and sexual storylines. I wish this book was a movie or TV show. I can't wait to hear more of this series.

The narrators were ok, but didn't do all the characters in a good voice. If they had it would have been a great audible book.

Noel and Jack were a good match together.

I stumbled onto this Gem 💎 by accident & I had NO idea what I was getting into!! This read was EVERYTHING!! It has multilayer story arcs featuring multiple characters, that will have you leaning in to find out more about them. Now, this ain’t your typical romance novel, this one has grit, intensity, and violence and that sh*t is beautifully written. Best of all this book series is centered around fierce black women and men with passion & strength.😍 🔥

Knowing who you are is important.

Loved how this author took a story of spousal abuse and used it to show how getting help can make a difference in ones life. We sometimes think therapy shows weakness. Getting help can never be a bad thing. The only thing I struggled with is how the voice of the Sullivan's men came across. It was voiced like they were country bumpkins from 1950 by the woman narrator. They were educated so the voice did not have to be so harsh. I have been to TN and the people don't talk like that. She did much better on the women voices. I loved Sean's narration. He always makes the men sound sexy no matter what book he narrates. Oh yeah.

The 3 women crack me up how they don't take crap from anyone. Well, except Avery with Pierce. Not to worry she will make sure he gets his.

D.A. Young is a new to me, but I will definitely put her on my favorite author list.

This book was better then what I expected!

Once I got pass the male voice as a women. I became hooked to this book. It made me laugh and I love books that makes me laugh! I love each personality in this book. D.A. Young have me hook to this series will be buying all the books in the series. Love it!

Good story with heat!!

I liked the story and the banter between all the characters. One of the draw backs is the female narrator’s attempt at the English and Russian accents. They were not good, I wish she had taken more time learning and listening to examples. It was hard getting through those sections. I may not listen to the rest of the series primarily because of this. Sean was fabulous!!

Great Book

Love the story. Great plot. Characters that you can't help but fall in love with.
