disjointed storyline and lack of depth
Narrator seemed like she was reading to a group of kids. her voice grated on me and I had a hard time distinguishing between male and female characters. I love elizabeth johns books, but this one was dissapointing. It just seemed like it was a read for beginners.

Narration ruined it for me
I am a great fan of Elizabeth Johns....she's a creative writer with a talent for developing interesting characters. The narrator of this book is new to me....and unappealing. Since, I could not return the book, I may someday attempt to listen again.
