Extra steamy medical romance!

Two women meet on a dating app looking for anonymous no strings attached fun and soon discover they are wildly compatible in bed. I won’t spoil anything but this is a great hot medical romance and the narration was great too.

Enjoyable

This has been the most enjoyable two+ hours I’ve spent listening to a book in a while. Looking forward to reading more by EH.

Smooth operator

I was heartbroken for Katherine and then to finally be with someone who you shouldn’t. Sophia is fun and sexy and caring. I nearly lost it in the last chapter. You need to read it to know. I really enjoyed this audiobook.

A Cardiologist Mends Her Heart

Dr Katherine Ross meets another woman on a dating app and they seem to be perfect for each. Katherine is a first class heart surgeon who protects her own closely. When they meet again at work will they be able to let their attraction go? A quick medical romance with steaming love scenes. Great performance. Recommend.

Ok story and narration

I finished the story but narration was flat which diminished any emotional connection felt by the characters or empathy from me, the reader.

The writer’s style.

It needed a little bit more emotion in the characters conversations the every day conversations.

Where is Abby Craden?

This narrator seems bored, and reading a grocery list instead of a romance, she also tends to run words together making her hard to understand at times. The story doesn’t have an actual plot, with the problem being resolved in less than 5 minutes.

Debbie Miller Nelson does an outstanding job of narrating this wonderful book by Emily Hayes. The fact that the entire course of the relationship between Katherine and Sophia is so possible in today's world makes this an engaging read. Emily Hayes has the ability to bring life and all its components to the page in such a manner that pausing the book is nearly impossible. The level of angst and sexual energy in this book is so intertwined that there was a constant emotional shift for me(which is part of the joy I experience when reading a good book.). I have now read and listened to some of her books. I have put her works at the top of my WLW TBR list.

Mediocre medical drama

If you are in the mood for the use of a hospital environment to enable surgeons and interns to have “steamy” sex, you have succeeded in finding it.
Personal tragedy leads to semi D/S relationship between senior doctor and ambitious yet talented subordinate.
It might have been more believable if the author took more time and effort to truly develop the characters, but sadly that did not happen.
