Publisher's Summary

With her physical abilities ignited beyond imagination, Emmalina Crist now stands as an equal with the love of her life, Reece Richards. The only thing better than becoming a badass warrior by day is basking in the man’s passion by night.

But the newly christened Flare - and all her solar-powered abilities - must remain a secret from the world, hidden from enemies that threaten to reemerge at any moment...like the most important day of Reece and Emma’s life. The crisis exposes a new layer to the Consortium’s vile vendetta and forces the newlyweds into a painful separation.

When Reece and Emma are finally reunited, the joy is double-edged. Team Bolt is still in danger, and there’s a precious new life they’ll do anything to protect - including going into hiding. With her identity stripped and her life changed, Emma questions her choices and retreats from Reece. The hero of LA is broken and searching for answers, and everything hangs in the balance.

Review WOW!!! Angel Payne has done it again!!

Surge is GREAT!!!
For me, I thought this book did not have as much action as the previous books...DO NOT MISTAKE ME!! THERE IS STILL ACTION JUST NOT THE USUAL AMOUNT! This book was more family focused and I LOVED IT!!!!! Surge was totally unpredictable, brilliant and mind-blowing! There was a twist and turn on every page. It really kept my attention from page one until the very end.

Reece And Emma's love keeps growing with every single book. I can't wait to see where the final book takes Emma & Reece! And I can't wait to see what the final book has in store for my emotions!!

Surge

Whoa! Emma now has powers and Reese had dubbed her "Flame" but wants to keep her alter-ego under wraps so Falene doesn't find out but when she shows up at their reception (oh yea, they FINALLY get married) all bets are off and Flame shows herself and Falene transports herself out of there with Emma's mom. Transports, as in disappears. Mom shows up 8 hours later and is totally different, drank the Falene Kool-aide and now is more flakey and frisky. If that isn't enough, Reese takes off to hunt down Falene and finds his dad (who supposedly died) leaving Emma at home to train with Foley. If that isn't enough, BOOM, she discovers she is pregnant and baby bean is growing at a rapid rate. Crazy happenings but so good! Who would have thought I would still be going after 15 parts and on to the next! That is what is crazy!
