delightful

I love the Nantucket scene. it was a breath of fresh air
loved every minute.

Too fluffy!

Good but fluffy. narrator's voice is positively simpering at times. for a short book, it took a long time to get through.

Great listen

This book was very enjoyable to listen to as I drove in my car. The reader’s voice was awesome. The characters so easy to love.

Narrator was fine - reminded me of the Crawdad book. Plot was good. Easy listening - just what I needed

I think even the author was bored

This was a struggle to finish. The performance was mediocre. And it seemed to drag on and on. the conflict between Keeley and Izzy was predictable.

seems unedited

The content seemed unedited, and surprisingly so for a book about publishing books. There were several references such as "her father" where the meaning was clearly not "her" father but some one else. and the last few chapters were so repetitive esp in what the main character was thinking (obsessive even) that I thought the outcome was going to be that she was going insane. It started strong but lost me by the end.

I loved this book!

It was true to life regarding family relationships, and friendships. Along with envy and jealousy, reconciliation was a big part of the story.

Ending disappointing

Loved this book - real people in real situations. But felt the ending seemed to peter out - as if the author lost interest. Pity

A Hallmark movie?

I needed a light read and this filled the Bill but a bit tedious after awhile. A good diversion.

So enjoyable

I always enjoy this author's books and this was no exception. The narration was excellent and altogether it was a pleasure to read.
