Reminds me of "Scary Movie"

It was a great listen overall, it sure did feel like I was listening to a Scary Movie retelling, book style. Gonna check out her next book in this series for sure!

it was great lol. very early 2000s cliché slasher and I liked it. it was still a good story even tho it was a bit dramatic in a very..... young adult way. not a bad book. Just a book about a bunch of mean girl high schoolers and it fits. I always like a good storm setting.

Great characterization and suspense!

I could picture this being a movie with every word! I loved it!!! Exciting and fast paced, this was such a great book!!

I loved the dialogue and narration

Summer Rental is the absolute perfect Summerween read! If you love all things horror and scary movies this is the book for you! It’s mean girls meets I know what you did last summer, meets Scream, meets Ouija all wrapped up into one hell of a book! It hooked me from the very beginning and I was locked in the entire time! I loved the character development and banter, the plot was great and kept me interested the entire time and I most definitely did not see the plot twist coming! The audiobook narration was great! Summer Rental was the perfect summer thriller and exactly what I needed to wrap up my Summerween reads and head straight into Spooky Season!!
