Cute and Fun

If you could sum up Sugar Cookie Murder in three words, what would they be?

Cute, fun, and yummy

Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?

This story did keep me on the edge of my seat as much as a cozy mystery could. It was slightly predictable, but the reasons were not.

Which character – as performed by Suzanne Toren – was your favorite?

I liked Hannah as always. Hannah and her sister.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

I was a little upset at Mike and how he treated Hannah in this book. He was gruff and a little possessive it seemed.

Any additional comments?

This was not my favorite in the series at all. It was cute and fun, but not the best. There were a couple of things I could just not forgive. I would elaborate, but it would ruin a few plotlines. Overall though, a fun quick read!

Fun at the potluck.

I don't like how Mike acted in this one but Hannah still rescues the day. Definitely worth the read.

I love these books!

I have read and listened to these books over and over! They are fun stories that are not too dark with just the right amount of mystery thrown in!

Love the books not a fan of the narrator

I wish Joanne would try out new narrators. I love her books so much but may have to stick with reading them versus listening. This narrator is very cumbersome and uninteresting.

Another great book in the series.

Love the development of each character in the series. The acting is wonderful with each character clearly different in sound and personality through out the book and the series. It is hard to stop listening. And I feel a part of their community. I wonder if Hannah will be able to choose from her two suiters. I like them both for her. Can't wait to start the next story.

Another charming Fluke story

What did you love best about Sugar Cookie Murder?

It is a nice simple story that one fit between heavier stories.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Sugar Cookie Murder?

Like that this one was a closed environment.

Which character – as performed by Suzanne Toren – was your favorite?

Hannah

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Has it's funny points

Any additional comments?

This author is one that I use when I just want a little light reading. The character are a lot of fun as they develop. Having grown up in that area, I can relate to many parts of the book. Try the recipies!!! When I worked as a bookseller and talked about this book to my customers, very often they would talk about the excellent results they had while using the recipies. There sleuthing is very simple, and usually solve the case in the first half of the book, but the surrounding story keep the book moving along to the end.

excellent, highly recommend

Everything from the reader to the plot was excellent. I found excuses to listen to this book at work and home when I should have been doing other things. I am already a big fan of Fluke and Toren did an excellent job!

Lacking

Not as good as usual. Needed a little more charactor. Plot was good, but not mysterious enough.

No depth.

The story was too surface - no depth to the characters and the story was too grade school. Maybe that's what was intended - I don't know.
