When 24-year-old Felicity Harper is dragged to a sugar party, an event where wealthy men and women seek companionship, she never expects this one simple decision to drastically change her whole life. Her past is nothing but broken dreams and heartache. Her present is detached and dull. And her future? Well, before meeting Theodore Darcy, the famed film director, writer, producer and CEO of Darcy Entertainment, she would have expected more of the same. Love is just a fantasy and she wants no part of it - even if she can't deny the magnetic attraction between the two of them. So their arrangement is simple: sex with no strings attached. But as their intimacy becomes more powerful, so do Felicity's demons. Can Theo really shoulder her past and his own? And could Felicity even let him?

Very well written story that touches on mental illness and the desire to hold on to yourself. Well worth the listening credit.

Great story line

I was pleasantly surprised by the story. it had a Twist that was unexpected and greatly appreciated. however I do not think that it needed to have all of the explicit material. not that I'm against explicit material but the story itself would have been stronger without having it. also I believe the narrators did well however I feel as if their voices or tones were a little too youthful. I believe their voices or how they narrated these characters belonged to a different this story. a male and female lead with a deeper voice could have given this story a more fitting undertone or a deeper meaning . with such youthful sounding narration it kind of made it difficult to listen to or difficult to be immersed in the story.

surprising story

I bought this audiobook not really knowing what to expect, but I was so engrossed in this story from the beginning. The hero is a rich movie and music producer and the heroine is a waitress, janitor and credit card help line operator. The two seem really unmatched at first, but they begin a relationship. I just can't say anything more, but there are shocks and surprises that made me gasp and I had tears in my eyes several times- and I rarely cry over books! Mental illness is dealt with quite tastefully and the narration was very good. I recommend this angst filled story wholeheartedly!
