Almost would let my teens listen to it.

Olivia is comical in the way that real life is comical. She had an average childhood, so many people can relate. In fact, if it weren't for the language, I thought it would be great for my kids to listen to how an average person got through some pretty rough times, such as her grandmother's demise, and her agonizing guilt that went along with it, then went on to become a relatively successful Hollywood personality. I, as an average sized woman, was just little put off by her referring to herself as a little overweight. Just because she has an ounce or 2 of fat, doesn't put her in the "real woman" category, but kudos to her anyway!
I was enjoying the audiobook in my car and did not think to switch over to radio when I had my 14 year old son in the car with me. That happened to be the chapter where she started out with calling her new schoolmates the "Effing-C" word. So now, of course, he thinks that I listen to smut LOL. I should admit that the title is what drew me to the book, and that I never knew until now who she is. I am now a bit of a fan and would recommend this book to anyone...who is over 17.

great entertainer

I didnt knew olivia munn or anything about her. Just went for the book out of curiosity. But it was great! She is a great narrator also. I am a big fan of hers now!

Geeks and pudding anyone?!?

Olivia is a geek but she`s a lot of other things too if you watched her on TV or followed her on twitter you know that she's hilarious but she can also come off raunchy but it's not something she`s striving for females are judged harshly for things they say a man can say what he want so in her own words in this book she said what she wanted

this book is about her past and present whether there are fbombs in it or not . Her past is like most geeks they are picked on if they aren't good at hiding it and end up hanging with social rejects and her time in japan didn't sound that fun her downs seem like things we could shrug off but from experience I know it has an effect on you

I liked hearing her read it to me cause I'm so familiar with her I couldn't see myself actually reading this but the book is a better buy then this because of the pictures but then again the book can't showcase all her geeky ness

What I love most about the book is her humor and all the video game and other geeky stuff she talks about in her list . she shows a lot of love to the guy that most hot chicks would laugh at I grew up with some so I could relate

Only problem I have with it is seem like it was written too early she needed to live a little more before you do a Bio type book but it's ended well and it is a thank you note to her BIG fans

Geek, TV host, model, actress...author?

I don't want to generalize Ms. Munn's fresh and original perspective as "the voice of the new millennium," but I did find again and again that she is living in a very different world than I am. It was engaging to listen to her amusing and very-different take on entertainment and technology, and quite touching to hear her personal stories. Her TV fans will be unsurprised and quite pleased that she is even brighter than she appears on G4-TV, and her book provides a number of memorable rewards. Sadly, the illustrations are not packaged as a PDF, which is fine as she amusingly refused to narrate them.

did not like her voice

It's a great story since she mentioned Oklahoma where I live. She talks about the life of an immigrant in the US and I immigrated from Haiti, however a different Asian American would be more pleasurable to listen to...
