Publisher's Summary

Only I would put a fully clothed man on the cover of a male stripper novel. Why? 'Cause I'm a rebel. And because this book is about so much more than a guy shedding his clothes. It's a love story. A hot love story that includes redemption, second chances, finding your voice, and fighting for what you believe in. Fighting for who you believe in. Oh, and male strippers. Did I mention that? ;)

Blurb:

"I may have had more lovers than you, and I may take my clothes off for countless women, but you are the only one who can strip me bare."

Do you ever stop loving someone just because they're gone? Five years ago, Ryan Pierce disappeared from Alana Remington's life without a trace. He was the one she gave her heart to, her soul to - and her virginity to. So, imagine her surprise when she finds him dancing at one of NYC's hottest male revues as "Jack the Stripper".

Ryan never stopped loving Alana, and now that she has serendipitously dropped back into his life, he's vowed never to lose her again. But being together has its costs, and challenges Alana isn't sure she can handle. She finally has Ryan back. But how in the world is she supposed to share the love of her life with half of the women in New York City?

Strip Me Bare is a second-chance standalone romance. It contains angst, heat, humor, heartbreak, and one seductive male stripper who will not only have you handing over your panties, but also your heart. You've been warned.

✫✫ 5 Stars ✫✫

I really thought I knew what to expect with this book but this one was different, it didn't have the OMG twist I've grown to expect from this author. I stayed up all night finishing this audiobook. The characters were very honest and emotional and their story was beautiful and sweet with some tragic circumstances to boot. The connection between them was so palpable and the sex was extremely hot. I really enjoyed this book and have leaned that this author doesn't have a specific "type" of story which I love and can't wait for more of her audiobooks in the future. I always love a book that I didn't see coming.

Brooke Bloomingdale does a great job narrating this book alone. I may have even liked her Ryan voice more than her Alana voice and when a narrator can voice a character of the opposite sex this good you know she is talented!

REALLY.. REALLY.. REEEEALY GOOD

I got this book purely on the strength of Moto which absolutely blew me away and I didn’t think Ms Never could do it again.. well I was wrong wrong wrong. Not only is this a multi-layered beautiful second chance love story, you also feel the sexual chemistry, intense loyalty and in-harmony dynamics between the two very likeable characters. Added to that there’s sexy times, romance, family conflict, tense twists, heartache, smiles and good secondary characters.

It was a compelling sweet and emotional listen that had me riveted to its unfolding storyline way waaay into the early hours of the morning.. totally gripped, utterly glued and unashamedly gleeful. And, as we all know, it’s the narration that brings the characters and the stories to life.. making or ultimately ruin them - well Brooke Bloomingdale absolutely rocked it.. and her voice of the hero was 5 star perfection. This delicious second chance love story was told from the heroine’s POV and it didn’t have the usual (and, IMO, sometime a wee bit frustrating) ‘then’ and ‘now’ or ‘past’ and ‘present’ chapters which was refreshing.

Worth a credit? Well that’s an easy one... an unshakable and undeniable YES.

M.Never, never disappoints.

M.Never hit this book out of the park. It's not like any of her other books, but this achingly beautiful and twisted love story is like nothing I have ever read. The absolute literary brilliance she delivered is unbelievable. Five stars don't even come close.

This book....

First audible book I listened to. I watch floribama shore and saw this book promoted. Thought I would give it a try. Even thought it took me about a month to complete, I have to say, it most definitely kept my interest. Amazing author as I felt like I could see every “scene” that was described. I felt like I was their and like anybody know, an amazing author makes it seem as so.
Like any romance novel must have its ups and downs , this one had plenty; that is for sure! I have recommended this book to my family and friends. Can’t say I wasn’t imagining it was the writer and I during the whole reading.....

No. Just No.

The only redeeming quality of this story is narration by Brooke Bloomingdale. Otherwise, you have a twenty something privileged white girl whining throughout. Too many crude sex scenes. Not enough of a plot to warrant 8 hours. I like M. Never's other stories because they were interesting, but this one just didn't muster any at all. I would like to know why so many romance writers seem to think there's no actual romance for anyone over the age of 30. Seriously. I try to stay away from any plot with characters under the age of 30 so when I chose this one, I didn't realize they were in their 20's. Maybe that's why there's no substance to the story. When you have a 23 yr old girl saying her life has been ruined by some guy leaving her 5 yrs previously - which would have made her 18- then I have to just say no. Ridiculous.

My Two Pennies

Brooke has done a wonderful job with the narration of this story. Each character held their own throughout and the emotions poured through the speakers. Looking for a second chance romance that will have you grabbing the tissues for moments throughout the book, this story is for you. We’re given a realistic storyline that has you feeling these characters deep down and wanting to be by their side as they fight and push their way through life and fight for what they want and deserve. Not all families are the same and this story goes to show you just that. Strip me bare is the perfect title for this book in more ways then one and I highly recommend adding to your TBR list.

Wonderful HEA story

Sometimes you see the story (no matter how well written) how it's going to progress....in this case I was expecting more family drama and it went another direction.....
When Alana gave Ryan her virginity and heart, only to disappear right after that she is resentful and heart broken.
5 years later at a bachelorette party she see's Ryan or "Jack the Stripper" for the first time since that night.
Growing up on opposite sides of the economical tracks....their love was a struggle from the start. Serendipity has brought them back to find one another
but Alana isn't sure she can handle the logical and logistics that lay before her. Ryan wants a second chance, but there are always pitfalls in second chances and this story is very heart warming.
I loved the humour and sassy wit along with the emotional communications that take place - it's always difficult to open up and be emotionally vulnerable.

Don't waste your time!

I have read other books from this author and liked them. However, this book is bad. It is boring, it goes all over the place, the heroine is supposed to graduate from law school and be super smart. The police stops her and she does not state her rights at all, incriminates the hero and a bunch of other stuff that an attorney or a well informed citizen would never do so stupid. After that, I could not read anymore. the narrator was good and had good voices.

Great listen!

An emotional, sexy and angsty second chance romance which tugged at my heart strings! I loved that Ryan and Alana were so committed to each other despite all the obstacles like his occupation, her father and his family, standing in their way.
