The tools in a game warden brain always amazing, but not unwarranted, as they protect our lands AND the animals that inhabit it should be heralded by more author's!

Non-stop listening

I got so caught up that I finished this book in 4 days! Between having a family and working full time every chance I got I listening to this book. I cant wait for the next adventure of Mike!

Paul Doiron pulled me into this book immediately. I really enjoy the setting of this book and the characters. It’s both part of a series and a standalone listen. The consistency of the narrator is a plus. Henry Leyva is fantastic and really paints a great picture with his voice. I know exactly who is speaking. I really enjoyed listening to this book and want to thank #Macmillan Audio and #Net Galley for letting me have a ALC. It was so good I purchased my own copy!

Best book ever!

The writer has the staging the scene down to a science. I felt like I was in the woods with Mike. Terrific story line too.

The mystery held my interest. I liked the narrator. With all of the excitement, I think Mike Bowditch was a survivor.
