Publisher's Summary

Excellent narration

This book introduced me to the history of Rome when I was younger. It was a pleasure to listen it again in it's original language, appreciating the author opinion and vision, and comparing it with more recent works on the subject. It was great, even when I didn't agree with some of his opinions. I strongly recommend this book to whoever's wants to start the journey through Roman history.

Regarding the narration, this was done clear with enough emotion and gusto but compared with others I've listened a bit monotone. Nevertheless, the narrator fulfills his job very well.
