Take it with a grain of salt

I think about 5o% of this is solid advice however the other 50% is not something I would follow, from my experience( my grown children ) & me seeing other kids grow . Been scout leaders and club sponsors and a coach . I would often meet and connect with kids that had this type of support seemed to have a lack a sense of wholeness and have tried to cling to adults that give them leadership

the narrator was not a good match

absolutely loved this book and everything it had to say. I found myself directly identifying with the author in many ways. I also think the examples included are helpful and very timely.

My only issue with this audible book is the narration. it's not that the guy is a bad narrator because he's not. it is just too far of a stretch to be a good match though with him doing a falsetto voice for over half the book.

Enlightening

What I like about this book is that despite the title it related to everyone whether you are a parent orI not. The narrator speaks clearly and is easily understood.
This book has many tools and insight that I can apply to my life and my relationship with everyone. Very interesting and informative. I highly recommend this book to everyone.
