Lori Woods has crafted another great installment in her Nightshade Paranormal Cozy Mystery series. What a fun group of characters. Rebecca Mitchell gives another great read.

I’m addicted to this series can’t get enough, pleeease my dear author keep them coming!!!

Okay...

I still do not like the first-person narration. All of the: "I say", "she says", "he says" over & over again is incredibly annoying. I know this can't be the first book I've read that was written like this. It's so in your face that you really can't get past it. I don't know if there is a better way it could have been written. It takes away from the story, which is sad because the story is good.

Meh.

More political and woke than I'd care for. We listened to books to escape reality.
