Marcus Kilpatrick is a strong man and along with his beloved wife raised his five children to find their own way in the world…to make their own lives. But in the blink of a stolen moment he was brought to his knees.

Now, he often finds himself standing on the balcony of his home looking out to the waves, remembering that he hadn’t always stood there alone. The memories that are never far from his heart along with the sound of the waves soothe him…

Then his children begin showing up at his doorstep in Cranberry Bay.

Faith, his youngest daughter is the first to arrive but the others are not far behind her.
