Overall Enjoyable

In general I liked and would recommend this book to fans of the genre. I enjoyed the twists and turns after I got beyond the slow start. I would have preferred less steamy love scenes in favor of more suspense.
The narrator did a good job with the male voices, but his female voice was so lacking in female essence and warmth that I found myself disliking the female character.

And unbelievably great book. I highly recommend it

The book kept me in suspense from the very beginning. And the narrator did a great job of keeping the book exciting.

It was her the whole time!

Now you'll have to listen to find out if I'm telling the truth or a lie mwahahahaha! Seriously though, really great story+performance, twists galore and all of the stuff to keep you not wanting to stop. I finished this book all in one day if that says anything to you.

Sandra Brown does it again with this sultry read!

Fast paced and so fun to listen to. Loads of twists and turns and it was really enjoyable! I would highly recommend this book.

Modern day Gaslight

Reminded me of the Bergman and Boyer movie, Gaslight, which was much better than this story. This plot left some holes in the story. for example, why the lure of the Philippines? In many places the story line is predictable, in others, fuzzy logic prevailed. With all of this said, I couldn't wait to get to the end.

Great suspense...keeps you guessing to the end

Love the mysterious plot and the romance. It is a true page turner with surprises to the very end

The person reading is amazing with changing his voice for the different characters. Wonderful book.

This was a great story! It kept me interested from the beginning right up until the very end. I would definitely recommend this book.

Sandra Knocks it out of the park!

A winner! Characters came to life with Lang's voice. Now another year to wait? Bummer!
