I love this entire book series. It will have you in all of your feelings. This is a true roller coaster of a book series. You had me really wanting to jump on this book an slap the sh** out of several people. But honestly this is seriously how people still are in the world and it is truly sad. Now to start Rhyson and Kai’s story. Now is this one going to be another roller coaster of emotions?

The entire series is chef's kiss!! Top tier! Whew! My eyes were wet and I didn't expect that. Beautiful love story between two different people! Love it! Although I listened to the audiobook I downloaded the kindle books too!

I cried

I love all three books, but this one really touched my heart. I felt the emotion from each character, as if I was there, living the moment with him.

This series was amazing. It touches on everything you can think of in three books. Definitely a series i wish i could read again for the first time

An Emotional Rollercoaster

Wow!! First of all, this is book 3 of a series. You must start with book 1. So, the narration was great. One minute I'm laughing, mad, happy, and even crying. This story hit on so many societal and relationship issues that It's crazy that they were all able to be addressed very thoughtfully. I loved the poetry excerpts interwoven throughout the story. Child .... let me tell you that the romance scenes were on fire!!! #RelationshipGoals. The main characters, Bristle and Grip, define the meaning of the term ride or die.

Now this is a sequel....

Now, Kennnnnnnnnnneeddyy! This girl can write her butt off. Sometimes, these sequels or book series be lacking, but not this one. She picked, right up after "Grip" and let me tell you, Bristol and Grip's journey was everything. I was glad to see them make it, flourish, and have little ones. Despite the hatred, the naysayers, even family, not wanting Grip being with a white woman, they showed them that love has no boundaries. Grip, being the man he is, he never made a promise he couldn't make. I know this was the end, but I need and want more. Good one, Kennedy 👍🏾. #Book4of2024 #Bookworm #Whatsnext

I can’t BELIEVE I kept skipping over this trilogy series. I have come to love Kennedy Ryan’s writing but this here story!!! NO WORDS! It was such a tear jerker and emotional ride and conversation between race, love, trust, and understanding. If you don’t listen to anything else, YOU’VE GOT TO STOP HERE AND LISTEN!

The love story of Grip and Bristol mirrors the relationship of my marriage; therefore, it is relatable. Grips' love for Bristol shows you cannot help who your heart falls for.
