I am a big fan of Susan Meissner. Always engaging, intriguing, entertaining. I like the Rachel Flynn mysteries as well as her most dramatic historical books, from which I have learned a lot. Tavia Gilbert performance is stellar in this series.

I think Susan is a talented author. The story is interesting thought-provoking and leaves me feeling satisfied at the end that there is a conclusion, I also love Tavia Gilbert’s narration.

Good mystery & not easy to figure out. Definitely thought provoking. I like the way Susan Meissener creates stories that make one think about certain situations & what if scenarios that one may not have even considered before.
Looking forward to reading book 3 in the series.

Stick & Stones is a worthwhile murder mystery. The protagonist is a lawyer/prosecutor, but the story is about gumshoe investigative work on an old cold case and it never goes near a courtroom. The novel gets very close to boredom as it drags along. Narration is superb.
