Publisher's Summary

China expert Robert Spalding reveals the shocking success China has had infiltrating American institutions and compromising our national security.

The media often suggest that Russia poses the greatest threat to America's national security, but the real danger lies farther east. While those in power have been distracted and disorderly, China has waged a six-front war on America's economy, military, diplomacy, technology, education, and infrastructure - and they're winning. It's almost too late to undo the shocking, though nearly invisible, victories of the Chinese.

In Stealth War, retired Air Force Brigadier General Robert Spalding reveals China's motives and secret attacks on the West. Chronicling how our leaders have failed to protect us over recent decades, he provides shocking evidence of some of China's most brilliant ploys, including:

  • Placing Confucius Institutes in universities across the United States that serve to monitor and control Chinese students on campus and spread communist narratives to unsuspecting American students.
  • Offering enormous sums to American experts who create investment funds that funnel technology to China.
  • Signing a 30-year agreement with the US that allows China to share peaceful nuclear technology, ensuring that they have access to American nuclear know-how.

Spalding's concern isn't merely that America could lose its position on the world stage. More urgently, the Chinese Communist Party has a fundamental loathing of the legal protections America grants its people and seeks to create a world without those rights.

Despite all the damage done so far, Spalding shows how it's still possible for the US and the rest of the free world to combat - and win - China's stealth war.

A General with a backbone loaded with truth "woke"

The first 20 minutes or so in this book the General drops a couple names and my jaw dropped knowing he finished this book long before the crazy political Ukraine stuff this last week of September 2019, I'm not going to say who those two people are that would be a spoiler but it certainly shed some more light on things going on this past week. It's finally about time someone had the backbone to lay it all out there in regards to China's plan with the United States and it is a retired Brigadier General, many Americans have been smelling it he just came in and turned the light on. Also as always the narrator Ray Porter is fantastic I'm glad he chose to narrate this important book.

Should be taught in school and US history

Great job sounding and making us aware of the alarms that China, specifically the CCP presents to rest of world. We are not the only one in the USA that are at risk. This is a game of global domination and the risks to the world are as big as ever. You know, for the Americans that think like globalist elite, this breaks down over two of the most fundamental rights in a democracy, freedom of speech and religion. CCP has no interest in either, therefore the free world will always be at odds with the CCP.

To fly:The Chinese flag or the American flag ?

This is the best book I have read on China's plan to dominant our people. Spadling helps us "see" China's tactics & reminds us of their stragerty of world dominance. Nevertheless, he suggests what our counterattack to defeat their plans might look like. So, there is hope if our leaders take the threat seriously & implement many of the ideas he suggest. We citizens can help by spreading the word & holding our leaders accountable. Our letters & our votes count; we still have a say in this war.

Biased, Innacurate and Hypocritical

Laughably biased arguments, sometimes with blatant factual inaccuracies. The author has no realization of his own hypocricy, when he decides to suggest courses of action that are as despicable as the distorted view he tells of China. If something could be considered brain dead propaganda, this is it.

Death by China

The incompetence of our leaders has left us economically entangled with a one-Party, totalitarian, etho-nationalist country with an “unrestricted warfare” mentality, and which considers the USA as its primary enemy. “Made in China” cheap electronics lead to made in China missiles and aircraft carriers.

Biased, hypocritical, and untrue

The general clearly is a person who went to China and failed to do business with corrupted CCP officials to make a fortune, enraged and started to write a book to attack China whenever he has the chance. It's very ambiguous that he went from an attache who said he wanted to move to China after his settlement and admitted in the book that he, like other people, also wanted to settle down in China to make lots of money. It's never clear why he suddenly changed from "I love China" to "China is the New Nazi" LMAO. Clearly someone who didn't get a share of benefits and got mad. The trope he wanted to attack China by using General Eisenhower‘s words are just ridiculous, you can only fool those under-educated red necks lol. China was the Allied force for fuck sake and your own GI Flyer Tigers were fighting with us not against us. They sacrificed their lives for China. China was one of the major forces who fought in the WWII against Fascism, the country would never be a Nazi country. The general was an AIR Force but clearly didn't have enough education to know the Flying Tigers < <...

Revealing a side that is not always explicitly reported in mainstram media, bringing the stealth war to light. Fantastic reading by the reader with full of emotions apt for the stories. Great stuff!

A good listen as long as you don't get sucked in.

The bulk of the chapter on 5G is riddled with inaccuracies, over exaggerations, and fear mongering. I point to this chapter specifically because it is within my field of expertise. If that's the case, what degree of accuracy does the rest of the book offer? There are several instances of contradictions between the first part of the book and the conclusion, be it isolationism vs globalism, tariffs vs subsidies, past administration inaction vs present administration inaction. It's hard to nail down a concise conclusion because it advocates for all strategies while arguing against them at other times. Don't get me wrong, the individual cases of abuse are clearly laid out and justifiably terrifying, but when it comes to a path out, there wasn't a clear consensus.

A Not-So-Healthy Dose of Ego Booster For Americans

If you are an average Americans, wishing to have a not-so-healthy dose of Ego Booster, given the very current developments of the very current situation, well then the book is for you. The author went over his head. And the book is full of itself. The B2-pilot-turned-China-expert turns out to be an Amateur. Such a waste of my time. I already asked for my refund.

Extremely biased, sounds like Trump's puppy

The books is like a baby crying that American and the rest of the world are all bullied by the supreme and vicious China! I mean come on, first of all, no one knows bullying better than your master Trump, and this year 2020 alone, you have showed clearly that the so called American freedom and democracy are just jokes on your own terms. Really dreadful to listen to what you say here.

Well you can't say you haven't been warned

Some books are entertaining Some will broaden your mind Some will expose a scandal Other will bore you to death. This one is one of the most significant books of a generation. A modern-day book of 'revelations' ...and just like the original...agree or disagree The one thing you really can't do...ignore it...

Excellent Book MUST READ

All round excellent book, finished this within a couple of days. I really think more Americans should read this, I wish the main stream media / legacy media could cover more of this type of information. Freedom & Capitalism are 2 of the greatest things to ever be ‘invented’ our Democracy should be doing everything in its power to ensure this doesn’t disappear. Looks like the book 1984 is getting closer to a reality. May even be a reality in China already. #Trump2020

Important for the future of Democracy and freedom.

General Spalding outlines the greatest and most urgent threat on democratic nations/ human rights in general; the CCP. Supported with irrefutable evidence he describes China's use of unrestricted warfare to slowly become the dominant economic power. Probably THE most important book of the next decade, I urge everyone to read this as it apply's to EVERYONE who wants to live in a free society.

Decouple and Defeat - the CCP regime is doomed

General Spalding lays bare the CCP regime’s existential threat to democracy and civilisation. He then maps out a compelling path to total decoupling from, and the defeat of, the CCP regime that is now being actioned by democratic nations across the world. This may be the single most important book of the 21st century. An absolute must-read for all free people worldwide.

Good but Americans need to learn the art of concise writing

Great book but it was either repeating a lot of what was already said or overdoing rhetoric and under doing qualified facts, which ultimately turns this into an editorial I sense there are a lot more case studies we can learn from Must also commend the way out at the end
