Keep These Coming !!!

I love Julie Mulhern’s Country Club Murders series and “Stayin’ Alive” is my favorite contribution to date. The characters continue to grow and weave through the different books so well. The mystery plot has plenty of twists and turns that lead the reader down one possible path to another.
It also contains some of the most riotous episodes yet.
Callie Beaulieu comes through with another notable performance. She does a great job of juggling the many characters as narrator. I am left anxiously waiting for the next installment.

Another fantastic mystery with Ellison Russell that keeps you guessing throughout to narrow down to the killer(s) of three different women!

Love this series

I absolutely love this series. I was a small child in the 70's, but I remember my mom ,my dad and all the dinner parties and country club set. I love that Ms. Mulhern tackles the feminism that was taking place and the freedom it truly gave women. The mysteries are always good and well written. I think you can read these as a stand alone, but would suggest starting from the beginning. You won't be disappointed.

Stayin' Alive is a fun, entertaining cozy mystery with a fast pace and engaging characters. I love this series and I'm glad that Ellison is finally ready to move on with her life. I enjoyed this book and look forward to the next book in this series.

Snorting laughter/Immense Enjoyment...Every Book!

If you are looking for laugh out loud fun reading with an excellent plot, toss in a murder or two and this is the perfect book for you! I absolutely love this series. I always wait for it to come out on audio as I absolutely love the extra little pizzazz the narrator adds to the personalities of the characters who are already well fleshed out by the author, but get just that extra little push from the narrator. The worst part about reading this series is that every time I finish the book I am so disappointed that I have to wait for the author to hurry up and get me another one! I absolutely can't wait for the next book!

Laughter and Murder try Stayin’ Alive

I love books written by Julie Mulhern. Her ability to interweave 70 culture, Kansas City, animals, humor, and a murder mystery are ingenious. The voice performance is wonderfully done to add a feeling of being there and being a part. I hear the book is out and wait impatiently for the audio book. I believe anyone looking for an escape with a funny mystery will love this book.

She is one of my four favorite authors including Patricia Cornwell, John Grisham, and Lynn Cahoon. The narrator is my overall favorite.
