Publisher's Summary

Op-Center chief Paul Hood was going to retire. But that's about as likely as a gun shooting flowers. A bunch of rogue U.N. peacekeepers, or "Keepers," has decided to cross over to the wrong side of the law. Armed with stolen U.N. weapons and ammo, they devise a shocking plan to gain the world's attention. Demanding one hundred million dollars in ransom, the assassins take over the U.N. - where ambassadors from ten nations have gathered for a gala function at which Hood's daughter is going to perform. Hood is back in the saddle in a flash, and with the full force of Op-Center at his command, he's not merely out to manage a crisis - he's out for blood and vengeance.

Op Center

I have now listened to the first 6 Op-Center Books. All have been absolutely first rate in every respect. All of the characters are fascinating, but my favourite is the General. I can't wait for the rest of the series and hope it goes on for a long, long time!

great story bad reader

story was great as usual for a Tom Clancy Op Center one. Publisher needs to get another person to be the reader of the story.
The reader of this story is monotone and very boring put me to sleep on a couple of chapters.

A good story that is well read.

The story is good. It has lots of little plots. The reading is very clear and fits the
the emotion of the book. You can start and stop the story and still enjoy all of it.
I really have enjoyed the book.

Crainer has become a wonderful narrator.

Kramer has become a wonderful narrator. Robin and become God awful. is repetition of unnecessary words like he said she said they said Etc and the really unnecessary recital of many military operations and other acronyms has become tiring

State of Siege

Not worth the money, slow read, too wordy and boring. Not up to the standard set for the Op Center Seriesbeta inappVoteInfo
