Loved this collection of short stories!

I'd love some more stories like this set in The High Republic. I wish this one was longer.
The highlight for me was Tessa Gratton's, absolutely loved the way it was written.
This got me so excited for Phase 3. Long live THR.

The performances were good but I wish it was more consistent with previous narrations (for example Axel Greylark should have a Coruscanti accent - i.e. english), but it didn't bother me that much, I really enjoyed it overall.

A High Republic Fan Must Read

So many storyline threads left hanging by phase 1 and 2 are closed or at least cared for in this volume. Great stories!

Great sample of the High Republic!

A great variety of stories across Phase 1 and 2 of the High Republic that plus a causal reader's or lore junkie's experience. I recommend it.

It was good overalll

I've certainly read better and definitely suffered through worse. If you've been enjoying the high republic, then you will likely find some enjoyment from that stories. There just didn't feel like theirs much substance to the stories. They're just descent short stories about Star Wars characters.

Terrible Pronunciation

Most of the stories are pretty cool and fit in well with the rest of the lore of the High Republic. We get little snippets of characters we know and plenty of new ones to discover.

However it is beyond baffling that nearly all of the narrators can't pronounce the word "Nihil" correctly. Most of them, all but one, say "Nile" like the river. It is frustrating that they seemingly didn't care enough to get the main antagonist's names correct. Since only one got it right I am giving them that many stars.

YA Anthology of High Republic Stories

This is a YA book with stories set in the High Republic from a variety of authors. If you are a High Republic fan you may enjoy them. Several were overly long for me. Few stood out for me. I listened to the audiobook version and the narrators were good and fit the characters. Some were stand alone tales and some relate to the larger story arcs in several phases of the High Republic. All were more of youth orientated stories. As a long time fan and SW book lover, I miss the more adult focus of the legends books. The vast majority of HR books and comics are aimed at younger readers and I skip most of them because there is so much content its overkill. It should be streamlined liked Phase 2 was, just a few books that allowed you to more easily follow the story. Fortunately, we are finally getting unabridged audiobooks of more legends novels. Will enjoy those more!

Fun and interesting combo of stories

These short stories from the first and second phase of the High Republic series are well-written and performed and a lot of fun. They offer an engaging bridge to the next phase of books about the High Republic.
