Spock's mother, Amanda Grayson, is dying, and Spock returns to the planet Vulcan where he and Sarek enjoy a rare moment of rapprochement. Mark Lenard (who plays Sarek in Star Trek) does an outstanding narration on this story. The audiobook is definitely abridged but still an enjoyable 3 hours or so.
