Publisher's Summary

She uses her fame as a wall around her heart, and only he can tear it down.

Seth Rafferty knows Heather Wainwright's type. Demanding. Check. Self-important. Check. Leggy and blonde. Yeah, he knows the drill. He's been a Hollywood production designer far too long to have patience for A-listers with a superior attitude. Beautiful women with a chip on their shoulder are a dime a dozen.

Which is why his obsession with Heather makes no sense. Nothing about her is attractive. Except the vulnerability under the sass. The honesty under the attitude.

So when wrap-party flirting gets carried away, Seth doesn't stop it from turning into a sizzling night of passion. Too late, he realizes one night isn't going to get her out of his system.

On to plan B: Uncover the real woman under the diva.

Soon Heather will find out that Seth isn't just a simple carpenter she can use and lose without consequences. He'll play the part of the builder, but it's her walls he intends to break down.

The Paige Style Comes Through Clear

Really enjoyed this story. Love the popular star and the rugged carpenter who really isn't just a carpenter. The story was great. I just thought that Heather was a little too critical about Seth's deceit. A bit silly, but to some, it might make a difference, as it did to Heather. When I get so involved in the story, I know it is a great one. One of my favorite narrators, Andi Arndt, did a masterful job with the characters of this story.

Great story ended too soon

Love Andi Arndt she is the best, just wish it was narrated differently, I like it better when it’s more the characters talking and not so much like a story narrative if that makes since. Anyways still a great story

Lost interest in the middle

Performance was flawless as always with The best female narrator in the world.
Storyline was boring, a wast of credit

just okay

This was a struggle to finish as there was no real depth to the story. If it wasn't for the narration I would have never been able to get through it.

Struck down walls

Heather Wainwright is a self absorbed Hollywood diva to everyone. She has put up walls and shields herself from the fans and love that gave her, her amazing life, but to protect herself from anyone hurting her again. When Heather meets Seth Rafferty she snubs him because she feels he's no one important and can't take the risk of being caught by paparazzi with a blue collar worker.

Seth Rafferty knows Heather Wainwright's type just like his ex. Superficial and only in it for what you can do for her. Heather thinks he's a carpenter and he doesn't correct her but in all actuality he's a Hollywood production designer and won't give her the time of day if she's that shallow. But the more he works with Heather the more they become attracted to one another seeing behind each others walls.

Andi Ardnt nails her auditory story giving Heather the sexy sultry whining diva voice that can shrill on your last nerve while giving Seth the calm rational strategic voice making you want to cheer him on!

Good, with reservations.

I liked Heather and Seth as a couple. How similar they were. How one of them was able to come to terms with their past, but the other feel shame from it.

My issues come from Heather not being able to figure out who Seth was. Google and IMDB is a thing and to become intimate with someone and NOT have any idea who they were?

Then there was the morning after pill thing. It made absolutely no sense to not want to take it especially when Heather had a history of taking birth control.

What I really liked? Giving back to schools. That whole Urban Arts thing was just awesome. And to make it a significant part of the relationship was great.

Andi is excellent as always. How is she so good?!

Also, can the Lexie character get a book?

Sweet story

I love Hollywood romance stories, this one had the female as the Actress and that was different. I enjoyed it and as always the narrator did an amazing job.
