So beautifully complex
My beach friends lives are so complicated. I couldn’t put this book down because I was so eager to know what was going to be the next tangled web. Isn’t that just like real life though. Life can be so complex, but so enjoyable all in one. Thank you Joanne for sharing yet another book of our tangled up beach friends. So good!!!

A life and thoughts adrift
Joanne DeMaio has written another great addition to this series. The lives of the friends of Stony Point continue to be complicated. But that is what keeps me returning to listen to this series. The emotional connection of the characters is real. They are more than friends, they have become a family. If one is hurting, they all hurt. From family drama, a try at a reconciliation, a life adrift, a budding romance, or a bittersweet ending, the wait for book #20 is already too long.

Decisions...apprehensions...maybe upcoming joy???
The characters are so real to me after 19 books. Sometimes I just want to shake them, and sometimes I want to hug them. This one had me feeling both-and what is coming for Jason-just when I thought he was settled....and what will Elsa do with her recently found secret? Hold on everyone at Seaside-she is writing as fast as she can!
