A Decision is Made

This entry in the Seaside Saga has Celia and Shane back from California. She has resigned herself to not having her mother in her life. But Shane has seen something that he feels could change everything for Celia. Now he wrestling with a troublesome decision. Should he tell Celia? He knows it could change everything between them. The author once again pulled this reader into the lives of these wonderful characters that reside in Stony Point. She makes you feel the heartache that Celia is suffering and the agony of Shane’s decision. Once again she gives us just enough of what the characters are experiencing to tease us and keep our interest heighten to see what will happen in her next book. Her next book ‘Hush’ is coming this summer, so the wait will not be long and I am glad.

Captivating

Joanne Demaio is an excellent author. The stories just keep you wanting more. You can’t wait to find out about all the characters.

Who Knew- an ice cream card???

A few things feel settled....a few people come clean about secrets....but, who knew the hidden value of an "earn a free ice cream" card... Looking forward to seeing what comes next. Who stays....who moves on....? Thank you, Joanne, for not making us wait too long.

I liked how he put it all on the line, but honestly his honesty won out. you can't have a relationship based on a lie

Sadly Below Expectations

Joanne’s writings are usually enthralling, engaging, a book you don’t want to put down. 3 synonyms just in that last sentence doesn’t come close to the amount of synonym abuse used in this book. That on top of a great character turned into an unrecognizable character, baffles my mind. This book was non-relatable; an English assignment requiring so many words to receive a passing grade. I truly hope the next one has substance again.
