"SpongeBob SuperStar" is like a lost season 1 episode that was never made. I recommend it to fans of classic SpongeBob. Doug Lawrence does a good job with the material, sounding like he's reading to a class of kindergarteners. Of course, the highlight is when he performs his official Plankton voice in "Sandy's Rocket." Speaking of, the book adaptation of "Sandy's Rocket" is ...fine. It adds a bit of new story. Nothing great, but I guess adding anything is adding something.
