Publisher's Summary

Spirituality is a uniquely individual experience resulting from an introspective assessment of the moral, ethical, and compassionate components of our lives. It includes the nonmaterialistic aspects of life. Exploring one's spirituality is a transformative process of the core need for solitude and includes ethical and moral choices. A human's true self experiences personal growth during the contemplative process usually resulting in a more compassionate existence for themselves and others who they interact with during their lifetime.

This audiobook provides an in-depth view to techniques, methodology, and, most importantly, the history of modalities selected to bring the listener toward a more spiritual existence without or in combination with faith-based religions. The spiritual component to our daily lives is always a transformative path intended to create change as a result of spiritual practice.

Too much information crammed in

The content was good but it was way too much information crammed into a couple of hours. Once you were just grasping what was said it was off to the next sect or religion. The material really needed to be expounded upon in much more detail then it was to be of any real value. This was a review of information one already knew, not designed for learning about them. The book needed to be much longer with each topic covered in more detail.

Highly recommended

A fun and engaging book about various paths to spirituality. I purchased the kindle and audio versions for myself and the paperback as a gift.

What You Seek is Seeking You

"Spiritual Portals" presented itself at just the right time for me, giving an overview of the various paths usually followed to find God. Told soothingly with great patience, I found the book both informative, easy to absorb, and peaceful to listen to.

A lot of spiritual views quickly presented

Quick review of a wide variety of spiritual and related subjects. Some good and others not as good. A quick presentation of a series of lectures.

A person reading facts about different religions

If you have learned even a little bit broadly about the world’s religions this book is a complete waste of your time and a theft of your credits. There is not an original thought to be found. Instead, it’s a series of middle school book reports about the different religions.

Right on time

I've had the book in my library for a quite awhile. On a day that I've chosen to forgo news and general media, and start the day with being mindful. I played this and it was perfect timing. I needed to be reminded of all my prior teachings and found myself to be refreshed with the good words.
Just what spirit required.
