Publisher's summary

Robin Alexis, known as the Spirit Lady—gifted intuitive, medium, Reiki master, paranormal expert, and expert in the metaphysical arts of clairvoyance and clairaudience—offers here in book form many true experiences. Some she has shared on her own live call-in podcast, Mystic Radio. Other stories from her life are offered here for the first time.

Like her feathered namesake, Robin arrived early in the spring, long before her small New Hampshire town was ready for a child who could actually see Jesus in the church, and long before relatives or medical professionals would recognize the accuracy of her inner voice. Her struggle to understand and accept her intuitive gifts and the ensuing battles with her emotional and physical health is a cautionary tale for us all.

Robin’s memoir is so extraordinary it is best enjoyed as fiction. Grab a snack, settle into your favorite comfy spot, and immerse yourself in the story of a modern-day mystic finding herself and growing into her gifts in a world where being weird isn’t always welcome. Drawing from her own experiences with children she birthed and babies she lost, Robin examines the importance of finding and nurturing our connection to the deepest part of our being.

Her story—a courageous account of how she finally learned to love her self so she could more readily and completely love others—is an incisive lesson in how to consciously bring more joy, love, and peace into the world by starting first with ourselves. It truly is a Spirit Lady’s healing journey from self-loathing to self-respect.

These days, although there are still plenty of people who don’t understand her or who cavalierly dismiss her, Robin Alexis fully embraces the reality that she is an anomaly of a human being. Have you ever felt like the odd one or like you don’t belong? Listening to Robin's story—Spirit Lady—may help you to find your own calling, learn that you’re not alone, and understand that your existence matters.

Read in one sitting!

I really enjoyed this book, in fact I listened in one day, just couldn't stop. This book is a well written account of the author's life, as she grows into her "own knowing" as a psychic medium. One thing that stood out to me was how women have often been overlooked and misdiagnosed by the medical profession. A lot of women will be able to relate to this book because we may not feel we are psychic but every one of us has intuition that can be tapped into. I liked the readers voice too, always a plus when listening.
